Steps for opening a canadian Paypal business account

Hi guys,

Can any canadian member guide me trough the whole procedure including bank accounts etc... and the time it would take for it to be verified? Thanks!

    It is the same for a US PayPal account. PayPal recognizes Canadian banks.

    I use Royal Bank, but I created a free ING Direct Canada account and connect that to PayPal instead of my RBC.

    It took a few days to set up ING because you have to send them a check. But once you have an account, you can link it to PayPal. PP transfers out a small amount (less than $1) to verify. I think that takes 24-48 hrs. It has been a while since I did it.

    Have you considered just trying, or asking paypal themselves...? Too simple right? :-)
