    For me personally,

My greatest "tech" stumbling block has been making sure all my programming works the way it is designed to. I can come up with brilliant ideas but they are cheap. Ideas are a dime a dozen.

It's all about execution. Testing my programming and tracking mechanisms has been difficult at times.

For my list members (newbie internet marketers),

It seems like FTP, setting up a blog, working with an autoresponder, etc are the basic stumbling blocks.

    Cheers,

    Brad Spencer

I see many people who just freeze in fear at technology. I have been in technology for 33 years and have seen technophobia countless times.

I always tell people the same thing. Just download the software and play with it.

Most people can use a PC and a range of applications, messengers, file sharing sites and so on - how hard is FTP by comparison?

Most of it is simply overcoming fear.

It's not the tech issues that have me stumbling, honestly. Being more of a left-brain person, technical things come easy to me. If anything, I have problems with the other side of the spectrum: the people side. Things like connecting with your clients, personal interaction, etc. Selling, too, since I find it difficult to connect with people. Luckily, I can usually just sit back and manage things and have other people do what I can't do. I do still try to learn as much as I can, though.

    Hi warrior member Tofumonkey

Interesting post your have here - When I first started in IM, I notice most newbies were stuck with installing wordpress blogs, hosting, ftp etc.. which other fellow warrior members have mentioned.

However I have noticed that the most baffling problem I have is with HTML. i.e. I use a html WYSIWYG editor and I switch between code/ and WYSIWYG mode, however when I upload it to my hosting account via cpanel and then when I come to test i.e. view it via Firefox/ Internet, the alignment of sales page or the promo page is completely out of hand.

I try aligning the text left, right, centre, justifying it etc.. and it just won't shift in the right place- oh and then there's dreaded diamond box with a question mark in it. I have no idea what that does, it just appears in the space betweeen words and so I usually end up having to spend like hours editing and getting rid of them , or retype a new html sales page or promo page which is annoying.

Recently I think there a trend for recurring income and so membership sites are quite hot and I think there's going to be a lot of people who want ot set up their own forums and memberships site and I can predict that the most common questions would probably be - how does one set up technical side of an membership site i.e. host a membership site, add free and paid options, different tiers of membership levels and pricing structure, as well as secure passwords etc...

Best wishes and sorry about the rant

the thing that strucks me the most is the fact that there is no way to find a real traffic source that would work cuz the internet is filled with spammers with all the fake bots that send you unique slicks and taking your money without any real traffic
