Videoplayer with Optin but not a LOCK

Hey everyone,

does anyone know of a video player that I could integrate in my WP blog that pauses the video for an optin form but has a close button?

I wanted to give the viewers the opportunity to sign up but don't want to force them (e. g. with several players, you can lock the content so the video does not proceed until they sign up - personally I would then leave that page)...

From my knowledge, Leadplayer could do that but is no longer available.

    Why not embed youtube iframe? Thats whati use for my squeeze page. I can automatically play it, pause it, replay and bring my audience to my youtube channel

      Actually I want a plugin that reads the YT video and overlays it e. g. with functionality like an optin form (in the video player)... other features usually are buy buttons, social shares etc.

    I just purchased Hero Caster. It should do all the things you're looking for. I literally downloaded it 2 days ago and don't have a "live preview" that you can see, but I think it's got a lot of really nice features.

      thanks for the recommendation looks really promising. Unfortunately their demos are not working for me so have you tried their features? Do they work as advertised?

        None of the demos are working for me, either. I'm using latest Firefox.

    hmmm... had a second look through the covert player sales thread and I must say, I shy away from it... looks like there are lots of problems with all kinds of themes and I don't want to spend that much money and then start arguing around with the software developer whos fault a non- or malfunction may be.

      ^ ha true. I got it and the interface isn't very good meaning it's hard to figure out what stuff does or how it's going to look. Lots of options but no tutorial or the instructions are very limited. And yeah, he gets defensive when you complain.
