Giving product selling entirely to resellers?

Hi,

I am about to move to an offline venture soon. Not that I am completely off of the online business. So I am thinking of giving marketing part of my product to few resellers like 10 - 20 people and I only provide support and upgrades.

So all sales goes thru these resellers.

Any one of you are following this type of marketing model? or any thoughts?

Reselling is a very valuable tool, just like networking is.
    Depends on your product though.
I do some reselling of my products, the hard part is finding the managers that will actually promote and do the work.

Exactly. I have few people in my mind like web designers, wordpress template creators etc to offer my product. But before I jump into this seriously, I need to check different thoughts/view..

    Dear radhika

    Join Clickbank for that
but my advise for you is: when you open the resellers keep it for allocated time and not forever it means for example 1 month or less and check out your income
    and try another plan
I hope that I helped you

I need people who actually promote it seriously and get sales or by offering my product as an extra add-on service to their clients. Most of the CB resellers put up a link and forget about it.

I haven't done this myself yet, but I've read about this in books and it sounds like a very smart way to go, you have a lot more reach this way. Just make sure you catch your part of the share.. ;-)
