WiredTree VPS or LiquidWeb VPS better? -->techies help!

Hey Warriors,

I am debating which host to use for my Wordpress membership site. WiredTree and LiquidWeb seem decent... But which is better below (or is there a 3rd option even better)? ...Both are about $50/month

-----------

WiredTree VPS:

Wiredtree.com/managedvps/ (not an affiliate link)

vs

LiquidWeb VPS

Liquidweb.com/StormServers/vps.html (not an affiliate link)

-----------

...which would you choose? I'm not sure how to tell which is better with all the tech features/figures they talk about on their VPS pages. Thanks!

I don't know to much about LiquidWeb, but I have worked with WiredTree in the past and would gladly recommend them. When it comes to managed hosting, it is all about uptime (theirs is great) and finding a host with a knowledgeable team and great support, which WiredTree definitely does. Good luck!

I've been with WiredTree for 2 or more years now. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Personally, I think their customer service sets them apart. They routinely go above and beyond in that aspect. I've opened tickets in the middle of the night and gotten response in 5 or 10 minutes...with helpful, friendly, and effective answers.

There was a long post here about VPS options, so if you search "WiredTree" in the forum, you could probably find it.

Someone in that thread said they had tested WiredTree VS LiquidWeb and seen a noticeable difference in loading speed. I've never had that problem...although, I'll admit I haven't tested it.

That said, I know of someone recently who had a problem with LW and had to hire an outside service to fix the problem. Obviously, every issue is unique...but in my experiences with WiredTree, I'm not sure that would happen.

I'm currently on Liquidweb, and their service and support are very good.

Yeah…I don't think you can go wrong with either of these two. Maybe some more "techie" minds have some feedback in terms of what each service offers.
