Where should I host Clickbank sales video? (VSL)

Vimeo does not allow any kind of promotion.
YouTube is too unprofessional to use for a VSL.
Wistia is too expensive and they rarely answer support e-mails.
Amazon S3 is horrendous with its super difficulty to learn how to use.

Do you know of any easy places to host (unlimited bandwidth) a sales page video for a Clickbank product?

Sorry, I was going to say Amazon S3. I've heard over and over about how cheap it is. I've looked into it myself and it's the platform I would use. Perhaps you should learn how to use it. You can do "easy' or you can do "good for pros."

    Just my 2 cents.

I agree with you that many use it, but the learning curve is beyond difficult for me. I am not a coder / html person at all and hiring someone to make changes each time can be costly and time consuming.

There is no learning curve, or am I missing something? I use Amazon S3 to host all my videos, and all you do is create an Amazon account, get access to S3, login to the web-based control panel, and start uploading your videos. Every video you upload will have a URL like http://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/yo...your_video.mp4 and then you can just link to it any way you want.

Vimeo Pro is $200 / year currently, and allows commercial content.

Or, you could try Easy Video Suite, which makes S3 hosting a lot easier.

This. Easy Video Suite is RIDICULOUSLY easy to use, and it's set up to work with Amazon S3. Literally all you have to do to get your VSL uploaded is drag-and-drop... EVS does the rest (optimization for the web, PC and Mac, uploads to your S3 account, etc) and then gives you a code to place on your site.

Basically, if you can't work with EVS, just give up right now because it doesn't get any simpler.

I've talked with Vimeo, they do not allow commercial content for some reason.

What makes YouTube too unprofessional for a clickbank VSL?

I use them for my clickbank sites, and the vast majority of my non-affiliate sales come from those YouTube videos.

AS3 is not hard to use.

Just upload to a bucket that you create (just like doing normal FTP) then use a player to show the content on your site. If you use WordPress as your site platform then its really simple.

Use flow player as free option, or use a product like S3Bubble (a wordpress plugin) then the monthly is about $5.

EasySuite is good, but pricey if you just want a sales page video. I would say get the money first, then move to EVS if that is your thang!

Here is a link to a flow player on WP plugin directory that is free to use

Just remember, you don't even have to use FTP. Like I said before you can just login to your AWS control panel, go to your S3 bucket, and upload your files via the web. It takes a matter of seconds.

Thanks for the Easy Video Suite info. I will check into it.

BTW, S3 may be easy for some, but for those not technically inclined it may not be. If you use it, you also need a video player on your site to play the videos. Just another step for those not technically inclined.

You can do it with Vimeo. You just have to use their Pro version which is $199 a year I think. Check their plus version ($50 a year) as well as they might allow promotion in that plan as well.
