[SUGGESTIONS?] Best ways to monetize small business leads online?

I *think* I may have found a way to get to get the attention of small business owners online. The technique seems to have a very high "open rate", is highly engaging and is free. I'm not ready to say much more because the technique needs to be tested before I make any claims for it, and so I'm looking for ideas to monetize. These businesses employ typically 1 - 5 people and are clicks-and-mortar: restaurants, florists, hair salons - that kind of thing. They may or may not have websites. They are probably socially active on Twitter and Facebook but not skilled or interested in stuff like SEO or website enhancements. I think a good way to get started with testing is with some kind of affiliate offer.

So... Clickbank or Peerfly offers: any suggestions about what may play well with this kind of business? I'd prefer to avoid loans and those kind of financial offers with exhorbitant interest rates.

Are there any other affiliate networks that have products that work well with this kind of demographic?

Thanks

If they don't have websites, you might want to partner up with a company who would provide monthly recurring marketing services to them. Usually, these deals pay you a monthly referral fee for the life of the account. Work once, make money many times over. What's not to like, right?

A small business that is socially active on Twitter? never seen that. Most of them can't waste their time with that.
