Hi

In what time you always send email to your subcribers? In EST

And how many time perday you send email to same list.

The answers to your questions are: Now and Whenever you have something you want to send to your list. Don't use waiting for the right time to put off sending an email. Also you may be surprised to learn that many very successful online marketer send their list more than once a day. Of course you need to give your list some value and quality. You can't just send them offer after offer.

Pinpointing the best day and time to send a campaign is difficult because ideal sending times vary depend on the segment of a list you're sending to.

Here's what I found with Mail Chimp case study:
    - Mail Chimp analysed more than a billion emails to identify trends in the optimal time to send marketing messages.
    - It found that email opens increased after 12pm, with the most active period being between 2pm and 5pm.
    - Tuesday and Thursday are the busiest days in terms of email volume, so it might be worth testing other days to help your messages stand out from the crowd. However, it might also be that these are the most successful days for a majority of marketers.
    - There is a noticeable drop off in the email open rate on weekends, so it’s probably best to avoid sending important messages on Saturday or Sunday.

    Hope that helps

Actually there is no best time to send emails to your list. Its best to do it at any times and make sure to give some rest to your list.

It depends on many factors and should be tested for each list.

Try sending out at different time and measure. In general morning around 9-10, and then 4pm-7pm are good times.

Does it matter when you send it?

I tend to check my e-mail at around 5 PM. It doesn't really matter if someone sent me an e-mail at 8 AM or 4:59PM. I won't see them (and choose whether or not to open them) until 5 PM either way.

Unless you want the e-mail to be on the top of your subscribers' message list, there is no best time to send an e-mail.

      ^^ This

It doesn't matter when you send it - it only matters when the recipient opens it . . . . not everyone (in my experience) is constantly monitoring their emails, eagerly awaiting the next "golden nugget" to drop into their inbox.

I've tried lots of different times from morning to evening to late at night and even in the early hours of the morning where the bulk of my subscribers are and it's made little difference to open rates.

The fact is if the person on your list enjoys receiving emails from you they will try to open it regardless of what time you send.

You're better focusing on building a relationship and trust with them, your personal branding, offering them value than worrying about send times.

How many times per day to email someone? I wouldn't usually want to send more than 1 email but sometimes if I send a broadcast out alerting of a new blog post they might get 2.

There is no best time to send to a list, it depends entirely on when the recipient can open it. I personally send at different times of day to give a variation. Also, I send once on subscribing, follewed immediately by another email and then I send one every four days. This means each email arrives on a different day of the week for a few weeks before repeating.

Thanks for all answer.. The main reason i asked what is the best time because im new to list building.

They don't know me, who i am, what is my achievement in internet marketing.

So im thinking by sending emails in the right time, of course they subcribe with others too.. so in perfect time most people open their email they can see my email first at top in their inbox.

With perfect time and eye catchy subject at top in their inbox, open percentage will be high.

Normally i sent at 8AM.. Not bad, but as you guys saying, i will test at 4PM also before night.

I've sent out a bunch of e-mail over the years and I've found that 8 AM EST and 3 PM EST work like gang busters...

No matter what time you decide on you can condition your list to respond by sending your broadcast at the same time each day. Your loyal people will "tune-in" like it's a TV show or something.

Personally, I've found 10am EST on Wednesdays to be the best time to email my list.I'm in the UK but 80% of my audience are based in the US.

If you have Google Analytics installed on your blog (assuming you have one) tag your links using GA whenever you do a blog broadcast. That way you can drill down into your GA data and find out what time of day, and which day of the week your subscribers are responding to your emails.

Obviously you'll have to test different days and times, but I think you get the idea, right?

    Hope that helps

What has worked best for me has been 9am and 4:30 PM.

However, I can't say if that will be the best time for you, too.

Go a week sending at one time...

The next week for another time...

And so on and so forth...

And simply look for what worked out the best for you in terms of opens, clicks, and sales

    It's all quite speculative.

What if you get 50 Warriors all saying 25 different times and days that work for them?

My advice to you is to send out an email every single day.

    Communicate with your list.

Get to know their wants, needs, desires.

Then after 30, 40, 50 days of emailing them every single day...

...Just look at your data and make your own analysis from that data.

You're far better getting started and making a complete hash of things
rather than waiting for everything to be perfect and taking no action
    for 12 months.

Take action. You won't regret it.

Simple. Do it at both ends of the day. Mail at around 9-11am and then mail unopens at the end of the day 5-7pm. That way you should hit as many people as possible.

Seems like you received every possible answer out there, but I wanted to give my opinion as well. I always have an automated message go out as soon as someone opts-in to my list. I see a huge success in response to this first email. After that I normally see a very good response at both 6am and also again around 4pm.

For sure do your own testing, I think it may depend on your niche, so what works for me, may not work for you. Just get to know your list as best you can, and make sure they know you too so they dont think you are a bot that sends them a ton of junk.

      Good luck!

I've never really worried about what time to send an email to my list. If they are an active list then they'll get your message what ever time you send it.

Maybe some regularity is good though- always send the mails about the same time then it will get fixed in your list's minds when they are going to receive your mails.

If you're looking for some inspiration on the email writing front, I can recommend Ben Settle and Andre Chaperon- definitely get on their lists.

If you were asking "how OFTEN to send?" that would be a better question.

After subscribing to my blog people are sent an email every day for around 12-14 days pointing them in the direction of some top quality content on my site.

Then after that every 2-3 days.

The reason for every day in the first 2 weeks is to keep your self fresh in their minds.

Build that relationship even further with them and show them you're not just going to bombard them with promos and product recommendations.

People don't mind being emailed so often when you're always sending good stuff and giving them useful information they can put into action.

Send them junk every day and you'll lose them as a sub ASAP.

My unsubscribe rate is very low and my open and clicks relatively high.

This question reminds of this great piece of advice "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now." – Chinese Proverb

Ideally you mail out everyday, first thing in the morning or evening after dinner is fine too. I work with a financial niche client and if we are 10-20mins late sending out that daily email we've got people furiously emailing us asking whats going on?

You need to set the hook deep with your subscribers. Don't worry about those who unsubscribe. Good for them, they were just wasting space. Engage in debate/response style conversations with your readers, not just tidbits of info that lead no where.

I think it depends more on the quality of what you are sending. How relevant is the email to why your subscribers joined your list? What are you giving them that solidifies your relationship and positions you as an authority? If you are providing value then I don't think it matters for the most part. In the initial stages I think you want to start building the relationship early, but NOT with a bunch of random generalized emails that fail to give you or your program relevance.

Actually it depends on your server capacity that how many mails you can send per hour and I don't think they have a limitation for timing. You can send at any time in 24 hours. It strictly depends on the mail recipients time when they will open and read the content.

any day of the week that ends in DAY

yes, its not a smart arse remark, because if you have a relationship with your list, they will be hounding over your computer waiting for you next email and looking forward to it like you would a good friend who emails, you cant wait to open and read it right??

In 2012, AYTM Marketing released a report saying that 60% of consumers use Gmail as their primary email service.

Most promotional emails go into the "Promotional" tab, so I don't think the time of day you send should be your biggest concern.

Instead, I suggest that you focus on providing your list with value and building a relationship so your emails don't get deleted.

It's true that timing is very important when sending your email, so you can be sure that they will be read. However, I can absolutely guarantee that no one can ever predict the exact time when people will actually turn on their computer and check their inbox.

In my personal experience, though, I get good results when I send emails at the start of the day; 8-9 am EST. It also gives me an ample time to have an email conversation with the recipients all throughout the day (and close a deal).

In order to know for sure you simply have to: test & measure.

But here are my benchmarks: follow-up emails I do very 3 days. I send broadcasts only when there's a webinar, contest, or any other exciting new details.

I f email marketing is your main marketing platform then you should always be developing and making follow-ups, watching and measuring which subject lines get the most opens, which style of messages and annoucements get the most clicks

The answer to this question as to when you should send emails, depends on your audience/demographics. For instance, if your email list consists mostly of working moms, your emails won't likely get read if you send them between 4pm and 8pm in the evening as this is the time when she will be getting home from work; preparing dinner and spending time with family. Then again, if your audience consists of busy executives who burn the candle at both ends, you should aim for early morning before noon, when they just get to the office and are checking emails. Just tailor the timing to your audience and their schedule, not your own.

I recently sent an email out at what was around 3am where the bulk of my subscribers are. Was one of my most opened emails to date.

It honestly isn't that important. People who fret to the nth degree over this probably have unresponsive lists that are never going to open their emails regardless of when sent.

If someone is on your list but doesn't know / remember who you are, has no relationship or trust with you, hasn't received any value BEFORE opting in and none after then whenever you send will be no good for them.

We've already talked a lot about when to send emails, but as to how often is another matter. Email marketing is not Facebook or Twitter where you can send endless status updates about every little thing.

Even if you email your list once daily, make sure it's something very important, if only a useful tip to start their day.

And, occasionally, send a second late email for the day with 'breaking' news of some kind.

Your list will come to rely on your for these occasional surprises, especially if they contain insider access to huge sales, promotions, coupons etc.
