Did you actually buy that list from someone else? This is spam email and I don't recommend that you do this.

The people on your list should know who they are signing up with.

The best way to do that is to actually have your own opt in form and let people know who they are signing up with.

If you generated this list yourself you should know how to expand it. If you did not build it, and it is not a list from a spammer, you should get the original list owner to email the list with your offer.
Otherwise delete it and start from scratch.

you have what it takes to build a list just keep doing it and continue to build a relationship with your list. Start thinking about sending advertising in Ezines list and scale up with ppc

I think if you are relatively new to IM, 15k list is great. As long iit is not spamming. You should never spam. I'm giving a free report on how to expand it. Check it on my home page link.

Only lists worth building are done through offering a great product or service.....those "Make 10k IN A FEW WEEKS" usually get spammed right away if it doesn't live up to its hype. The best lists are built using a good branding strategy. I think if your service or product isnt that good, you may want to find something to give by joining and let them know youll keep giving whether its info or free stuff.

15K list is great! What you've got to do now to continue building up your list is....... keep doing what you've been doing... seems to be working.

But if it's not... then you've got to test out different traffic sources; Facebook, Google, MSN, etc.

Offer something for free if they recommend their friends to join, it's a great way to quickly boost up your list.

Otherwise keep doing what you are doing as long as it is legal.

I cannot stress enough the importance of BUILDING RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR LIST!

They need to look forward to your next email. They need to remember your name out of the HUNDREDS of marketing emails they get. They need to trust you! Dont just treat them like a number because that is the quickest way to email marketing failure.

Never buy a list, you will most likely fail if you do.
If you have genuinely built your 15k list id say thats fairly impressive for a new IM.
There on your list for a reason so make sure you furfil their dieing needs.
Plan exactly what you are going to do in advance to achieve.
Focus on building a one on one relationship with your list. And have fun

15k list for a relatively new marketer is really impressive. I have been building my list for the past year, and currently reach only about 4k.

I assume you have a squeeze page already. As you probably aware, there are many ways - free and paid - which you can use to drive traffic to your page.

Offer something free to your current list, provide useful info of great value. This helps you to build a strong relationship with your list.

Sounds like you bought the list. These folks have no idea of who you are. I'd start over in a brand new niche.... advertising everywhere and abandoning this current project. I get the feeling you're not sure of what to do with your marketing.

Its a good questoin.

Email marketing works well for those that utilize it properly. For those that do better than this, they will never have to work a day in a crappy 9 to 5'er ever again.

15k emails are good. I am able to make about $2 a month with every 1 subscriber with most my lists. Some more, some less.

its all about creating and treating them right...not spamming, and not spamming them every day with list exchanges.

Never buy a list, Most of them are spammed, crap and unresponsive. Always better to build a fresh list of contacts you can talk to and build repore with.

JV deals are good too, cause you can work out a way to pump out content, while adding their memebers to your list. Its a win win for both parties, but some owners are protective of their lists, so you have to tread carefully.

These are some of the pros and cons with my experience, however you should realise, having any size list is one of the BIGGEST AND BEST assets to your business in the 12 months of the year.

Most people who FAIL online, do no list build. Once I did this, my whole world and income changed. Then having a list or BIG LIST of buyers in your hands is 1000 times better, so this year this is what I am doing working on making a bigger list of buyers. These are pricesless and worth more to your business than gold.
