How to get our phone to start ringing?

I'm either lost or I do not know what I'm doing, my phone will not ring. I have listed my site on Google, Yahoo and Bing and verified with each of them, along with countless citations. I serve my customers at their location so majority of the citations and search engines will just show my city and state. I have used the same NAP for all search engines and citations. I have filled out every description, services we offer, brands we carry, products we sell on our website, areas we serve, photos of our work, hours of operation, payments accepted and the same website landing page throughout. For Google we rank number 1 for our very small town, and in a 50 square mile radius we have very little competition. I think exposure for surrounding cities would help out.

Website Landing page: this is an inner page on my website, that has been optimized for my local area. Car Audio or Home Theater Installation in Connersville & Richmond, IN

Citations I have: superpages, hotfrog, brownbook, iBegin, kudzu, botw.org, manta, citysquares, ezlocal, merchantcircle, local.com, yellowbot, angieslist, yellowpages, yellowbook, yelp, local.nwitimes.com, thumbtack, insidepages, magicyellow, nokia prime places, b2byellowpages, showmelocal, ExpressUpdate

Stuff I don't have: Reviews, Organic results, back links, content

Stuff I don't understand how to do: Back links, Organic results, content and I think I know how to get reviews but obviously I don't because I don't have even one.

Stuff I believe will help: Make a page for each city we serve, with unique content for each page on our website. I just don't know what to do with the pages after they are made. Do the pages just display on our website and that's it?

Can you give me a little more details about the products you sell?
      who is your target audiance?
When you are showing up on google is it for when you type in the name of you company or for keywords your potential customers will be searching for?
Answers to these questions will help me know if i have any ideas that will help you.

Every business I have ever been in I have been able to make my phone ring using craigslist. Based on your products this may or may not work.

  • Being a local business, You should definitely look at facebook If you're looking to get the attention of your local market.

I recently worked with a client who offers higher education services to students looking to study abroad. I was brought In to write the landing page copy but I also got to work very closely with their In-house social media specialist.

She made me write a couple of posts and then boosted them. The posts shared some really good Information on scholarships and other related topics with a link that sends them to an opt-In form that they fill out If they want us to call them.

We got 3-4 requests a day on average and had at least one walk-In per day. The company broke all their previous records and had 60 students ready to be shipped out for the February Intake for Australian Uni's.

More than 90% of these were leads that requested a free counselling session via facebook.

Instead of expecting prospects to call them, they shifted their approach and made the prospects opt-In and submit their phone numbers along with other Information.

It wasn't a high tech set up or anything. We tracked and followed up with the prospects using sticky notes stuck on a whiteboard.

They had their highest Intake that season and The University Of Western Sydney even flew the manager down to thank him for pushing 20 new students Into a new specialized course that they had Just Introduced.

The targeting on facebook Is really on point and the results we got were mind-blowing.

Hope this revved up your brain and gave you some Ideas.

    Good Luck.

I would offer reviews of the equipment, a free demonstration of a system in a car and even a youtube guide to how to install it themselves. Then when the mess it up, they can phone you to do it right.
