Banner links that affiliate networks provide for images. Instead of using the link they provide and you save the image and upload it that way is that illegal or is that allowed?

    It works out the same way, except for that you are hosting the image instead of them. The target link (your affiliate link) remains the same. Unlesss they specify that what you propose is not allowed, (which I've never seen), you should be ok.

    If you are selling their product legally and ethically I doubt anyone would mind. If in doubt ask them, they have two options, yes or no. If no they might give you a valid reason why not.
