Does An eBook Need A Disclaimer?

I wrote an eBook (about learning to play a certain instrument in a short period of time). I am not a professional at the instrument but I know alot about it and I am very experienced. I also do not have any qualifications. Do I need to have a disclaimer? And if so, can you give me a link to one.

My Other question is: do I need to have any copyright stuff in the book in order to protect it? And also if anyone knows of any links to that aswell, it would be very appreciated.

      Usually book author on particular method always include a disclaimer as disclaimed if someone did not get exactly the same result that you write on the book.

    As a rule, think through the ebooks you've read on the web. I see few disclaimers. Outside of health/wellness, or financial industries...due to the litigious nature of these niches, disclaimers are high but as for the instrument playing thing you are good to go.

    For your other question you can again, check ebooks online or from your niche. Consider writing "Copyright 2014 (insert your name here)" on the first page toward the bottom, or on the cover bottom.

    I don't think a disclaimer is necessary. If it was in the health/nutrition niche then I'd say get a lawyer. But teaching one to play an instrument is pretty safe.

    As far as copyright goes, as long as the content is all original, then the copyright belongs to you by default. Add the "Copyright 2014..." line, but I don't think it offers you more protection.

    Congrats on getting the ebook written! That's actually a big step a surprising number of people never reach. Hope it goes well!
