A little tip that brings convenience to you when working on your computer

It is often necessary for you to split your screen two halfs with a different window in each half.
If you are trying to manually adjust the size it is frustrating.

You can do this perfectly and quickly with the following key combination
Windows key + left(or right) reduces the size of the window by half and shifts the window the extreme left(or right) depending on the key combination.

You can do this on ubuntu by using Ctrl +super key+left(or right)

I am sure you will find something for Mac too.

I always thought this is something which everybody knows but I recently found that many people do not know this.

Wow, thanks so much for sharing this.
    I never knew this.

I clicked the windows button with + button at the same and all the writing got very big.
Also I noticed a magnifying glass appeared on screen which I clicked on and a box appeared that gave the option to zoom in and out of the web page.

    Very clever.
This will really be handy when a web page has very tiny writing.

This didn't work for me although the other windows key shortcuts did. For anyone else who is using windows 7 and finds these shortcuts don't work try the following.

control panel > ease of access > change how your keyboard works.

Scroll down to "Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen". This box was ticked on my computer. Untick the box, save and the shorcuts should work.
