I am looking into making a sales page for one of my eBooks and I already have paid for HostGator hosting ( comes with wordpress). How can I make a squeeze/sales page with wordpress?

  Good list JP to which I would also add Lead Pages which is $37 a month entry fee with a $67 a month option which most people do not need but might want?

I suggest PaperTemplate. It does a lot of the set-up for you. You just have to add your copy and tweak the design a little.

You can create a salespage with nothing but a simple wordpress theme, you don't have to buy a salespage theme or a plugin if you do not want too.

i was looking through wp themes in their system. i remember seeing a nice single column theme that seems to be meant to make sales pages. its called the theme is called landing page

I am using InstaBuilder. It is much cheaper then optimize press. It has very similar functions then other wp plugins.

There are many ways to create sales pages with WP, i actually have a plugin that creates different pages. Its called funnelkit and i have many html pages. If you want i can give u few html pages for free.

Your going to want to pick a theme for your wordpress site. I use optimizepress on everything I do. If your on a budget you can google "free sales themes for wordpress" and that should get you going.
