Don't buy solos on Fiverr, it isn't worth it

Hi all! I've tried a solo ad gig on Fiverr, and I wanted to share the results with you. In a sum: it isn't worth it.

I've got 19 Nigerian and a couple Asian subscribers, and I think even these email addresses were fake ones. I had to delete them, so I've just burnt $5. I couldn't even test my squeeze page (and the opt-in rate), because it seems that all visitors opted-in (so it's clearly a scam, because no squeeze page has 100% opt-in rate).

Have anyone had ever luck with solo ad gigs on Fiverr?

You get what you pay for with solo ads- you could check out some of the Facebook groups (solo ads testimonials for example). I've had some really nice results with a lot of those vendors. Of course you can't get an ad for $5, but most are pretty reasonable and the traffic tends to be better.

If you can get a few people to buy a front end offer straight off the bat, you can cover the cost of your ad.

Yes, I agree! I didn't expect great results, I was just curious and I had to see the results with my own eyes I've already joined a few solo ad groups on Facebook, and so far I also have great experience.

lol, of course not! As hard as we try and find a short cut there is none. At the lowest your looking at 35 to 50 dollars to test something with for a decent solo.

Even then its still good to come up with a couple of questions you can ask the solo vendor to filter out the ones you don't want and just work with the ones that answered your questions to the way you like!

Agreed. You will get fake bot traffic and waste your time and money. Work with reputable solo ad vendors and you will be pleased.

Agreed. You get what you pay for. Chalk it up to a learning experience and move on. Your kind of lucky it's only $5 bucks. Fiverr is great for certain gigs but traffic is not one of them.

Sorry that one didn't work for you, but that's likely to happen with such a small investment. However I wouldn't broadcast to everyone not to ever attempt to buy a solo on fiverr because in all honesty you haven't tried every seller on there so you don't know. There honestly could be someone offering a legit source or program if you're willing to keep testing. To be honest with you, I tend to go for the more proven Solo Ad and Credit Based safelist providers but I do spend small dollars testing out new sources at times.
