Video Marketing - Are you frustrated?

Hi I need your help. Can I borrow your brain for a second?

I'm in the process of creating a new video marketing program that shows small business owners, entrepreneurs and bloggers how to quickly and easily create powerful attention getting videos in two takes or less. I would love to know your answer to the following question:

What's your biggest challenge or frustration when it comes to video marketing / online video?

Greatly appreciate your feedback!

Well, there is about 70 to 100 hours uploaded to youtube.com every minute.
That is a major challenge I would think.
It is like everything else, if it is easy, your not going to make real money because everyone is going to do it.
    Good luck

Biggest challenge? Developing content that is unique, original and interesting for viewers! The sheer volume of video content online can be overwhelming. To stand out you need to do something that grabs attention. Think outside the box, be novel in your approach, dare to shock people, don't go for the 'typical' approach. I view videos that have high viewing numbers to see if I can pinpoint what types of content and info is pulling them in. You have to brand yourself like nobody else out there so reach for the stars!

The biggest frustration when I first started doing videos was just getting in front of the camera and thinking that I needed to make a perfect take.

It doesn't need to be oscar winning stuff, just interesting and have some relevant content to the people you are targeting in your videos.

As an IT nerd, I can tell you that 99.99% of newbies have trouble with the RIGHT SOFTWARE to make videos.

    Seriously.

I've seen major GURUS launch videos with LOW DEF FUZZY VIDEO.

The truth is, creating a video in CRISP HD with ZERO EFFORT could be a major selling point.

So would there be interest in a site where you upload the video, enter the price and your PayPal email and it creates a page where people can buy and download the video?

I've been thinking about something like that for a while.

I agree. I mean, I have an idea of what I want in my video. I have a script, storyboard, music and everything. My biggest challenge is finding the right software to edit my videos. I have a video editor but I don't want to completely depend on him for everything. If I have the right software to make it easy for me to edit simple videos fast and make it look professional, that would be awesome.

The most frustrating issue for me and most people that I know is getting videos to look professional without much editing knowledge.

    Ah, some healthy competition.
I'm actually getting ready to release a program next month that teaches entrepreneurs/small biz owners/DIY folk how to structure their videos and the "why" behind it to maximize impact.

I'm more interested in imparting the education part than focusing on Film School 101 in a digital product - though there will be a small portion to help elevate the quality of how people shoot their stuff.

Obviously everyone's biggest problem is not enough views so come up with a consistent method to get more views

I have no problem making nor ranking but editing them to look slick is a real pain so that would be my choice.

Most definitely I'm frustrated as well with the current ways of making video and having the viewers engage in them.

If you're willing to put the time and effect, then you can definitely make some awesome videos, lots of good tutorials out there available for free and on YouTube

Biggest challenge? Sound quality! I have a hearing problem, like may others out there.

It doesn't matter how good the content, how interesting or appropriate to what I am looking for. If the sound quality is poor - which it is in around 70% of the video's I look at - I won't even attempt to watch it.

there are many persons who are trying to make a powerful market by youtube video marketing. I think that it is perfect if you create a process. Specially ranking videos is more challenging as many marketers are trying to rank their video.

Frustrated, yes we agree. Here is my problem, I use a multi-cam view and that means many cameras. Software helps me keep my sound in sync. Also, there are many cuts to make the video flow better, but it takes forever to render the video on a quad core with mega memory. Yeah, I have a fast processor. However, 4K video takes approx one hour per minute of video to render in 2160 X 3840 size.

What led you to shooting 4k? Just curious.
Where do you distribute your content?
