Ideas - Business Cards That Are Not Business Cards?

Hi All,

I would like to get some business cards...or something, I really don't want the tired old business cards that everyone is so used to and no one keeps or pays any attention to anymore...looking for ideas on what to use instead that you could put a tagline and contact info on that wouldn't be too expensive...does anyone know of a mobile app that acts like an electronic business card or something simple but creative and useful...???
Something convenient for toting around to local meet-ups, seminars, conferences, that kind of thing.

Thanks in advance for ideas or things that you are using that work well

Have you ever considered "drop cards?"

Nearly the same principle as the traditional
business card, but far more attractive.

The drop card takes the belly-to-belly,
personal element out of marketing, though.

...but just on the preliminary stages of your
    sales process.

      Hey thanks Kevin,
Looked up the drop card idea, at least from what I saw they all looked like
$100. dollar bills - I've seen these out in the world, that would work, but still a basic paper card...a good idea though.

Cyberk..the 22 Most Creative Cards had some cool ideas, some I've seen used before but had forgotten about, the coin is a very cool idea, and also the seed pack is a neat idea, I love the dog tags, hadn't seen that one used, for certain types of businesses that would work well, anything where you have a passionate audience, for my Rottweiler breeder business/site that would work well.
A well known public speaking/marketing coach uses these small books that he wrote and in the back is his contact info, that's a great idea for most businesses.
Something that is unique and or useful in and of itself that won't just get tossed.

Not really what you're looking for but here's what I do.

I put a coupon code on each business card and let them know it's a discount code for my website. The coupon codes are random between 10-50% off. But it drives traffic to my site and gives people reason to visit my site and keep my card.

I once toyed with the idea of having a folded salespage so it looks like a business card, and all the user needed to do is tear the little tab on the side. It was only an intellectual exercise, but it looked like it might work.
