Detailed instructions on how I made $50 within 2 days being a Clickbank Affiliate.

Are you all tired of trying to come up with "white lies" to promote affiliate products? Claiming that products are good but not really ever knowing how good it is?

Here's what I did:
  1. I chose 13 affiliates sites that all sold the same products
  2. Then I came up with a decent domain name that I thought would work.
  3. Next, I placed all these hoplinks on a Wordpress site and copied the introduction of each site.
  4. At the top I just put down that here's a list of available online sites to choose from. I didn't say which one was best..I just made a list.
  5. Next I ran Aword campaigns saying that here's a good list of sites to choose from. No white lies, no sale letter, just a plain jane list.
  6. Within 2 days I had sales.
  7. This proves that there are lots of folks that are looking for facts not hype.
  8. This could apply to nearly anything. Build a site with just a list of facts and run the campaign.

There are ways to make money without lying. Just create a list and promote that here's a one stop shop to choose from...

Here's the site: http://paidsurveys-secrets.com/

If any of you Warriors have a better idea...feel free to post or PM me.
I know this isn't a get rich quick scheme but it works for me.

Have a wonderful day and Good Luck to my fellow Newbies!

really good idea, thanks for this. You could even make the page a bit more user friendly and it would increase sales. You could also randomize the list.

That is awesome. I have never dared to do something like this without at least doing some type of comparison and "this is the best one" and giving them star ratings or something. But this shows how simple it really is. Of course testing between the two would be in order later, but the fact that I'd never considered just making a simple list is surprising to me.

my method making money with clickbank:

I have some "established" sites (WP blogs) which revolve around a certain theme, say "natural remedies" - this is the overall theme. This are mostly really good looking autoblogs, but i also mix in unique content once in a while.

I go on clickbank or ebengine.com and look at the stats of products, in this case i would check remedies and cures.
( I also get input from places like webmaster forums - sometimes fellow marketers drop some hints here and there what goes well for them!!)

I then do keyword research to get a ROUGH idea about search volume and competition for products/keywords. Some products/terms are easy to rank, cheap to bid on - others are not.

On the blog(s) i make review pages which talk about certain clickbank (and now CPA) products and where recommend them - in a VERY personal and credible way. No "hype" and now marketing blah blah. All pretty legit, away from the usual hyped IM way to do it.

I hire someone to write me articles and i use those with keywords for anchor links, linking back to those pages on the blogs. Part of the articles goes on EZA et al..others i use and put on the sites.

SOME sites/blogs are even more specific - some blogs are revolving around a single, very specific condition. So..instead of "natural remedies" which can have a whole bunch of different products featured i can have one site about..say...hemorrhoids.

    Same here...articles...

I make squidoo lenses (now: let them make)...linking back to my sites.

I do Adwords PPC, using the review pages as landing pages - and some of my more spceific blogs actually reached #1 in Google - in fact my main clickbank income is now almost all organic search results form the #1 position for this keyword.

On those #1 ranke(d) sites i have my reviews....but i also made custom banners featuring the clickbank product(s). I make custom banners because 99% of the ones the vendors provide are BAD.

(In my marketing, in the reviews and banners i very much emphasize and use words like Guarantee, Try Out, 100% Risk Free...taking advantage of the fact that CB has this refund policy which ESSENTIALLY makes any product a trial. "If you are not 100% satisfied, dont worry because they have a money back guarantee" <-- things like that. "Try it for free, if you dont like the results you can get your money back".

Sometimes i know beforehand it might be almost impossible to rank sites, say for "weight loss" or things like that.....but some niches/products are easy. Just look on clickbank and avoid what everyone and their mama is already promoting.

Clickbank and PPC is VERY tough....so my ultimate goal is to get organic results..basically money coming in for free.

Hey George thanks for this comment. I'm still running the high risk game of PPC. My goal is to built a 1000 websites and each make me a little bit but so far I will only get sales using PPC. I need to work on learning how to get free visitors.

Good stuff. While I don't use this exact formula, I do use some of the same principles. What I try to do when writing up reviews for a product is to include a good amount of factual information about the product as well as what it is all about.

By providing some background knowledge for a product you will come across as an "authority" figure and therefore are more likely to gain the trust of your visitors. Coming across as an "authority" source for information who is merely reporting on the facts while sprinkling in a tad bit of opinion is going to work a lot better than a full blown promotion in most cases (at least in my experience).

And this is exactly what I am working on right now. I am currently working on a review for a weight loss product on ClickBank which starts off with the facts and then leads into my opinion.

Frickin AWESOME man! Way to go!

I agree that with a different design layout you might even make MORE!

It's kinda like the "reality TV" craze...people got tired of watching the Cosby's because it just wasn't real enough compared to most peoples lives. Even so, the craze for that sort of thing was HUGE and formulas were developed around it... who would have known that one day the world would quit responding to the hype and start demanding "reality"?

    Great work!

How much PPC did it cost to make that $50. BTW?

Actually this was a very expensive campaign...I forgot to disable Content Match. I had my bid set for Sponsored Search at $100 per day. Ouch! But oh well those things happen as long as we learn from our mistakes. I was in too big of hurry and then I didn't check my account for a couple days.

As for Sponsored Searches I like to start out at $0.10 - $1.00 per click and then back off once I get enough clicks. Then using Analytics I can figure out how aggressive I want to bid on once I see the results of the conversions.

Yea, I got spammed big time with this one. I think I got around 25 spam comments on it. I'm still not sure if its good or bad when this happens...

I'll PM you. I don't want to give out too many "secrets" here. Actually the word "SECRET" in a Adwords text had been my most successful word so far.

Basically I like to browse on any given subjects ranging from history to business politics to science. It's here that I find myself looking to unlock the mystery. And you know what? I'm think there are a lot of others out there also looking at unlocking the mysteries. So one of my tatics is to write Adwords that leads browsers to the door of questions which hopefully clicking on the site will lead them to answers.

PS. I'm still a Newbie learning the rope to all of this...

Well, it took me most of the day to get it done, but I just finished a site of my own doing this.

I had an old MFA site that was not making my any money. I decided last year to do something else with it. I kept putting it off into the "I'll get to it someday" corner. I saw this thread the other day and started thinking about testing this.

So last night I decided to take that old MFA site and try this with it. So I took a theme I like and did some major tweaks to the code and finally got it finished. I never did much to promote the site, but I get about 60 visitors a month to it anyway. So now I'm going to throw some paid traffic at it and test it. If it generates some decent numbers, I'll build some organic traffic centers to it.

    The site is CreditTipExperts.com.

Thanks for the idea Run. I'll post some initial results in about a week.

Clickbank just does it. They changed their policy a month ago.

Another way is to use TinyURL. Copy and paste it onto your site and no one can tell it's a Clickbank affiliate till they're on the sales page.

    Hi,

Great idea. Thank you for sharing so much. In return for your openness here are some ideas for you.

Why not convert to a free membership site with details of genuine paid survey opportunities? Visitors more likely to come back and you can capture their email details. You could continue to recruit via adwords or, alternatively, why not set up your own CPA campaign and get an an army of affiliates building your list of members for you?

Great news that Adwords is profitable. Have your tried scaling? Try setting up a PPV campaign - cost per click is going to be much cheaper.

Would also suggest that you look at some of the CPA survey offers and consider adding these to your site. These just require an email submit and therefore convert pretty well. The sales page is also better than some of the dodgy Clickbank products!

    Good luck.

Thanks for sharing your great idea. I've just started working at promoting Clickbank products, but had the same tension about how to sell things I wasn't sure about. Great job and thanks for showing the actual site.

I do really well with the simple approach like that too - even a simple domain redirect or frame to a converting offer has made me some good money.

The only problem is that this tactic does not build a list. When I try to go to build a list, I get overwhelmed with all the work involved.

Everyone's been asking how I'm doing on this Site. So far I've had several sales. The ROI is messed up because I did not have my Content Match turned off.
My goal is to do lots of link building to this site. I will also create a separate article/page of each Survey Site. All of these will link back to this page in one form or another.
I also want to create a List so whoever comes to this site will be updated of new Paid Survey Sites.
It will take a long time to build but I'm looking for passive income NOT get-rich-quick.
