what would you say is the hardest part of whatever it is you do?

I would say writing articles, or overcoming the paranoia to pay $5 for one on fiverr from some guy who's probably going to steal my keyword idea.

Writing comes super easy for me. The hardest part for me is having the discipline to do some free marketing everyday. I'd much rather lay in bed.... until 8pm at night - then have dinner, chill with the girl.... then go back to sleep for 10 more hours.

      Skunkworks: noun. informal.

A clandestine group operating without any external intervention or oversight. Such groups achieve significant breakthroughs rarely discussed in public because they operate "outside the box".

I doubt that situation will ever happen. Not with decent writers at least. I honestly do not care about the keywords people send to me. They are forgotten about in minutes. My business is all about writing, not building up websites.

Agreed. And I think there is a fundamental difference in mindset between most marketers and writers. Namely, writers value cash in hand, whereas marketers chase the dream of residual income. A writer looking to stuff their pockets will be too busy banking from writing to concern themselves with examining somebody's keywords.

As for the hardest part of what I do: mostly any research requirements. I don't mind writing up books, reports and articles once the research is in place, but it never stops being a b*****d when I need to make notes on tinnitus or wine connoisseurship.

True. The key is sussing out the "writers" from the "article salesmen"

The hardest part of what I do is that someone may suddenly need my help at any time and send me a message asking me what to do, and I have to answer fast and help this person, even if I’m busy.

Identifying the dimensions that provide you max profit, then time managing and outsourcing
This is difficult and most critical, if done right you will make amazing progress

  • The hardest part for me right now is social media marketing. I like using Facebook and Twitter occasionally, only when I feel like it. I don't like it so much when I know I have to do it on a regular basis.

Even though I love writing, publishing 5 posts daily on my blog while writing 1-2 for clients...factor that in with traveling the world and networking like mad, and I am challenged. Of course I am blessed, living my dreams and wouldn't have it any other way!

The hardest part for me (and I think for many more marketers) is to be persistent, stick to the plan and be confident.

One of the toughest challenges I have experienced is to always be thinking and acting on "what's next"...when you achieve a level of results, the key is to not be too comfortable with that level as the entire game can change in 12-months or less. So, as soon as you hit some success with one product, niche or business model, you want to be working on extending, enhancing and moving beyond. Tough to do when you see good results, it's very easy to just work that product or system and stop innovating.

For me it's those first few minutes of what I'm working on.

Doesn't matter if it's writing, marketing, or managing finances. Some part of me doesn't want to do anything.

Once I force myself to get going, everything's a lot easier.

I think the hardest part of whatever you do is starting what you want to do. After you start all pieces come together and you work more easily.

The hardest part for me remaining focused during the day. It is so easy to get distracted and at the end of it all, what I had originally planned is not always completed.
