does anything work? seriously

I've wasted so much time buying wsos one after another. Everyone says, you should start with cpa, for no one needs to pull out their credit card for me to make money, and it should be easier. I'm still stuck, maybe it's me. I've tried everything, from ppc, media buys. nothing. Now I'm trying out ppv. Am I just giving up too early? I mean, I really try, and prob spent 300-800 (prob don't sound much to the gurus) trying to learn each traffic source but is a big failure. A little light and I would stick. ppv is the first I've ever seen a conversion. I don't want someone to give me a campaign, that doesn't help. I just want to understand more to make my own.

any help would be much appreciated,

I am with peerfly, yeahmobi (mobile), crakrevenue (adullt), neverblue, pointclick, just to name the main ones.

maybe I've got thirty percent of the way to each traffic source, IDK.
need some guidance on the other 70 percent.

any true course that's worked for you please let me know. I'm done buying wsos.

    Hey sayso,

I think you give up too quickly. How much time have you been sticking with a method? I never buy any Method-WSO, because I believe what works for others can't work for everyone (especially not for me), as everyone is different. There's no miracle solution to earning money. You just have to work hard and smart, and stand out from the crowd. You're never going to win millions by working 2-3 hours a week, unlike what 80% of the people on this forum are saying.

What works and demands lots of work is e-mail list building. Show your expertise on a blog, be incredibly helpful to others and others will help you too. Value relationships, be aware of the needs of others and stop being greedy.

I know it sucks, because I'm just like you. I'm motivated by RESULTS, and sometimes, when money doesn't come in, we're demotivated. We spend money to get people to help us. But those people are just looking for money, too, and are not interested in your business.

Once again - value REAL relationships!

What skills do you have? It might be advisable to focus on them and build a business that way. As an example, I am a writer. Others may be website designers, or graphic artists, etc. So that may be the way to go for you but obviously only you can decide.

I think you taking make money online way too serious. You spending money and time to make money for somebody else. What is it for you other than money? When peerfly go out of business what will you be left with? This kind of questions you need to ask yourself.

Blessing or curse? Unlike the offline world where you need huge investment to start a business here we get a complete business model for $7! Who can resist?

Focusing is always one of the biggest challenge which all marketers new and old alike have faced and will continue to face. Focus is the 'key'.

Any solid business model will work, if you work it.

But what is lacking on 99% of the WSOs I see here, as well as those trying to make money online here, is one very basic ingredient to financial success:

    What value am I selling?

If you are selling some crappy cpa offers that are mostly come ons and rip offs, you are not going to be successful.

You, first, need to identify what valuable service or products you want to offer.

In my case, I was a news reporter, whose newspaper when out of business, so I first started offering my services as a ghost writer on this site.

I ran a couple of ads and now I am working for one, quality client I got from Warrior Forum. He gives me so much work, I can't take on any more.

Then I decided I wanted to sell quality products online in order to create some passive income. I wrote some books for Kindle and get a monthly income from them.

I also looked into dropshipping and began selling quality products online to consumers via eBay and Amazon. I get a weekly income from that.

So, you see, you first must have something of value to sell, then all the rest will fall in place.

Many on this forum are seeking something for nothing. I mean, they think they can slap up a few websites, create a list and sell balls of crap to suckers. That's never going to yield any income or self satisfaction -- long term.

Again, start with offering a valuable service or product to a target group of customers. You must identify one you can offer.

    That's my advice.

The best way to build a long term sustainable income is to brand yourself, find your niche and become an authority. You then become the goto guy. This can take several months to years
and should be something you do besides earning a living in the bricks and mortar world.
Just as an example, and this has taken years rather than months, if you were to search for Honest IM product reviews or similar variables on google, I come top and I'm still part time as I have barely scatched the surface of what I need to get in place.

My advise would be to stop buying things, and start taking advantage of the free resources. The community is filled with money making ideas and methods.
Stop working and start reading, create a general knowledge of IM first, then start applying the methods and WSO's you have purchased.

Remember, thinking outside the box is the most important quality for an entrepreneur, but you need to build the box first.

One system, 100% focus, and work it. How to stay focused? Set a goal that for 30 days you're going to do nothing but that one system. Go ahead and actually unsubscribe from any lists you're on so you're not tempted by the next shiny button. You can always re-sign later!
One browser window open at a time. No fb chats, gaming, whatever distracts you. Schedule yourself a time slot every day that you'll devote to working that one system. Sounds real simple in theory, not that easy in practice, but 100% achievable.

    Buying WSOs doesn't help one.
WSO's need to be implemented and implementation needs massive action to be taken, a series of serious action.
Better you stick with one program, try on it hard. Don't give up that quickly.

well let me guess, you do something, don't get any results and then you move on?

round and round you go driving yourself insane....

kinda sound familiar but then the light bulb went off!

You need to set yourself up a plan and stick with it and the most important part is testing or optimizing your business UNTIL you can generate a return.

    For example:

today in 2014 you could pick "list building" and build yourself a landing page and then pick just one or two traffic sources.

now start learning to send traffic with that one traffic source. Are you going to get hundred views a day right off the bat? Probably not but thats find because what you need to do is optimize or adjust your landing page until you are getting conversions where you are happy enough.

    Thats phase 1

Phase 2 is to work on your thank you page until you can create yourself a return on the front end of your funnel. Once your able to create a thank you page where people are clicking to move to what you have to offer then its time to move to phase 3 and that is getting people to buy or sign up for that front end offer.

See, most people won't sign up and thats where you need to start testing with your email messages starting with the very first one. You should be getting close to a 90% open rate with your first message. Or course all of this need to be with targeted traffic and you need to test there as well.

try and get un-frustrated and jump back into the game...

P.S - Until you can optimize a page to generate a return or test then I would stay far away from ppv. For now...

Without seeing your offers it's hard to comment but I think you might be putting the cart before the horse. What I mean is that driving traffic is important but what those visitors experience when they arrive at your site, blog, offer or whatever is far more important.

All day long here we have people asking about backlinks and articles and how Google loves this and hates that and on and on and on. Despite the obstacle course in front of them, a few people manage to get great SE positioning and still fail. Why? Because their content sucks. So what good does it do you to get traffic if your site is a dud? No good at all.

Yes, everyone needs targeted traffic but it's your content or copy that matters most once the visitors show up. Concentrate on that first and then work to get the traffic.

It took me a year of posting regular how to draw videos on Youtube before I started to get enough traffic to offer paid courses to. I now make 40,000 a year from that.

However, the market it getting saturated with people who can't teach how to draw.

Also, whiteboard animations have helped my business a lot.

I was VERY heavy into CPA for years. What you spent means nothing...it's more about really digging in and mastering a traffic source.

Everything you tried probably works, it's just a matter of digging in a little more, being VERY targeted in your optimization, and just testing very small.

Test small, lose small, keep learning, and then you'll eventually get over the hump, find what works, and then just scale the freak out of it.

Either way, it's hard (more psychologically) when starting out but you just need to stay determined and focused on one route.

    Good luck!

Hey buddy, almost all successful marketers in one point or another were in your shoes. I am not exceptional. Struggled years online. Actually nothing wrong with the wsos', or the programs over there. The real problem I should say with our mindset. We often think that more is the option to succeed. I will say "less" is "more". Focus on one model at a time, if it works for others, think why it's not working for you. Test and tweak. Remember one at a time and master on it.

Every few days a new thread like this pops up on this forum. It always has the same basic elements.

    1) I bought a bunch of stuff.
    2) I tried a bunch of stuff.
    3) I didnt put full time effort into a one thing because I was trying a bunch of stuff
    4) I didnt devote myself to one method because I bought a bunch of stuff
    5) I didnt create a business plan, instead I bought a bunch of stuff, and tried a bunch of stuff at random and didnt follow through with anything
    6) I didnt get rich overnight while I was sleeping.

    then the conclusion...

    7) Nothing works or Everything is a scam.

and as always failure to accept the one true problem.

    8) Because of my lack of planning (this is a business after all), my failure to devote to a single thing, and my unrealistic expectations, I have not gotten anywhere. I AM the problem. I need to adjust me, and not complain about 'nothing works' or 'its all a scam'

Flippa is one, no doubt. You can start with about $25 - $35 my way and at least double your money within 1 week. You might make 5-7 times that, but you don't need $100s of dollars to start and you don't need more than 6 days to be profitable.

    Just scale it up.

Get out while you still can. Get a job flipping burgers where paychecks are guaranteed, steady, and all you have to do is show up and flip burgers with a smile. 'Traditional' business reality: ninety percent of new business' fail, of those that don't die off the bat it's an average of three years to pull a profit. Internet startup reality is even harsher, new ideas are harder to take root and the barrier to traction is competing against an infinity of web sites each vying for our attention. It's a maze with endless dead-ends and a long way to the exit door. Once in a while a mouse figures it out and tries to lead the lemmings, so hard to give directions though.. So many variables.. There are a dozen methods to success and each comes with promises of big money, overnight millions is about as rare as a fish that can sing. Get out while you still can, go back to the day job. Or else plan to work and work the plan, the only true failure is giving up but not every man is destined to be a lead singer in a rock and roll band. If the shoe fits wear it otherwise get out of the kitchen. Silly rabbit, internet millions are for everybody.

      Sir,

If you are working 12 hours a day and you are taking of your boys yourself, then you are doing all you can. Congratulations, you are not a slacker or an idiot.

If I were you, I would spend time with the boys rather than pursue this dream right now. You will never get the time back that you lose with them. Once they get older and more independent THEN you can pursue a business dream in your spare time and perhaps they can help you and get involved.

The only people that usually disagree with this idea are the people that are trying to sell you a method of making money online.

If you are doing a lot of back-breaking grunt work and it is unbearable long term, might I suggest you take what little money you are spending on Internet Marketing and get a trade or go to trade school.

Once you get a set of skills that are valuable to the market place you will be in a far better position to take care of your self and your boys and you can then start playing around with business ideas online or off.

God Bless and I wish you well.

Focus on ONE method. You`ve learnt about CPA, and yes there are a lot of people earning grear money with CPA. Now work hard until you get your first commission. After you`ve found out what brought in the first one, do the same thing to bring in 1000 more. That`s the key. Don`t just buy 1000 WSOs if you don`t plan to work hard

As with most things in life its all about your mindset. Knowledge is always vital to progress whether its through WSOs, Traditional books, Failures, Etc... its what you do with that education that matters.

I can point you in all defferent directions, but just like what you said "everyone says..."

But i think the important i can share is "nothing works all the, but everything works sometimes"

Its rare that any plan or strategy will works off the bat. Very important to track and measure.

    "What gets measured gets managed"

The truth is, most of us expect that our new campaigns will fail, we just are eager to find out why and what we can do to make it work. And we eventually do.

Consistency is the key - this is why successful Warriors say take action! Put down the books and do something for your business each and every day. That should tell you what seems to work. MMO the market with a low point of entry price tag. That makes it easy for everyone to jump in on it regardless if their methods work outside selling MMO stuff.

    It's all a vicious circle

and every one of the PPC networks you're in are scams in themselves, reselling promotions.
