Not sure who would abuse their list by sending clicks to someone else's offer or squeeze page for a measly $4 (after Fiverr takes it's cut). I am sure, however, that it's not someone who I would be inclined to buy clicks from. Just my two cents.

Most of these Fiverr Solo Ad sellers are simply sending your solo to free solo ad sites like State-Of-The-Art-Mailer System - Email Marketing Is Evolving, Are You Ready To Join The "Click Rate" (CTR) Movement?
You can save your $5 and find these sites on your own - usualy they have a free trial!

Yeah. It's not wasting $5 on a fiver solo drop..... it's buying a $5 crash course on Why You Should Never Buy Solo Ads on Fiver.

Five smackers well spent if you ask me!

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. A lot of people charge for things on fiverr that are actually free to use. Always do your due diligence before giving your money to somebody.

I'm you're getting garbage results from the trial why would you consider even buying the whole thing. Try real solo ads. Find list owners that have lists within the same niche as yourself, ad contact them directly about sending a solo ad to their list.

It would be better off if you actually bought solo ads through this forum. Just go to the classified ads section and you can scroll there to see who sells this service.

I totally agree with you! Fiverr is only good for designing or video making kind of things...Their traffic is crappy...I spent a lot of 5 bucks (its psychological that we think at the first glimpse that OHH JUST $5 but in the end you realize those were many )

I even tried sending my message to people's fans page and then I just checked those fan pages,,,there just had a huge number of fans, and nothing else, no activity inside.....so it was always useless to do anything related to traffic with fiverr....

I dont really know why they sell it so cheap in fiverr. There are a lot of demand of solo ads nowsday. If they can sell it more than $5. why dont they do it? Think it in your position. Its pretty dumb. But if you have a poor list, maybe that you should selling for $5. $3.9++ after tax to be exact.

I echo this thoughts. I've seen solos go for as little as 20 - 25 cents for legit mailers who just want to get reviews since they're first time sellers.

I can't in any frame of rational thought see how a solo seller can afford a $5 solo ad to their list and make any profit whatsoever.

This tells me a few things about that particular gig: it's either fake and the traffic comes from somewhere else, it's bot traffic generated with software and a few servers, the solo seller is an idiot and you wouldn't want to do business with them anyway, or if they are profiting in some form from their solo you can darn well bet some dark world black hat crap is going on.

      No other way really.

fiverr is full of bottom feeders and people that can hardly hack it in the business world (sorry just my opinion)

even if they were good solo ads, the person selling them clearly doesn't have much confidence in their own product to sell it for so cheap.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[9050757].message }}
    • Profile picture of the author David Allen
Not sure I agree with that entirely Thomas. The people who use Fiverr correctly are the ones offering a loss leader offer to gain clients for better work. I have found several programmers via Fiverr who are playing the game well.

Maybe it's not the same with Fiverr Solo ads but common sense would suggest that these lists would be very poor quality anyway.

Just wondering how they get the clicks? The clicks did show in google analytics.

The spent $5.00 on a gig to write my girlfriend a happy birthday message in the sand. I did earn some points on that gig.

Honestly I have tried solo gigs just for the sake of saying I tried, but it was no surprise that I didn't get any results.

    Try the sand gig though!

    Hello,

There are many reputable people who sell solo ads that will provide more value for your dollar.......make sure their subscribers are in your niche and you give them a squeeze page not a website to go to....

    Best wishes!

They are not valuable the solo ads at fiverr. The thing is that they send your messages to people where you don't know are there really interested people or not. Better is to find people that will send your solo ads to people that are related to your niche. Let's say I've a niche for food, and how do I know that this person who will send the solo ad has people interested on food in his list. So they send anything. And the thing is that, valuable solo ads aren't that cheap. Most of them send the solo ads to people where they are registered at some sites. The valuable solo ads which are related to your niche are a lot more expensive.

  • No way.

There are some decent graphic designers on fiverr. That's about it, in my experience.

Nobody with a list worth money is going to pimp it out for five bucks. That just seems like common sense to me.

For god sake don't waste your money man... At best your ad will end up in the hands of a few completely random international end-users and probably not even relevant to your niche anyway...

If you want to build a list - I would stick with getting your traffic from a more proven ad server like fb ads / adwords / etc

A Facebook group called SOLO ADS TESTIMONIALS (type it into your FB search bar in caps lock) by Manny Hernandez is a reputable group of ethical solo ad sellers.

I have personally purchased solos from sellers in the group & built my list with great opt in s & product sales. Manny also puts out information on scammers & sellers to avoid. It is a closed group so you will have to put in a request to join.
