It's not that "sales" are slow - Amazon has been having record-breaking sales so far this year. You perhaps should consider adjusting or ditching your marketing method. For example, the "product review" marketing model that many affiliates are using is fundamentally flawed.

Congrats, but this was directed at the majority of those who are like the OP and having marginal, if any success with such a model. However, if you're happy with a 1-5% conversion rate (as touted by the "gurus"), then knock yourself out.

There are far more effective ways to promote Amazon affiliate products than "review sites". IMNSHO, if you are not building lists of your buyers (or even visitors to your site), then you're leaving a whole bunch of money on the table.

Well, it means I made a fortune through the years with Amazon, and by using best practices in marketing, you can too.

And especially since your English is "not that good", I believe you may actually have an advantage by focusing on marketing to people who speak your native language.

            Let me explain.

It appears you are trying to attract English-speaking prospects to your product review website. But you are at a double disadvantage here because this method does not work effectively for most marketers, and you also mentioned having a language barrier.

Your real advantage is knowing the language and culture of your own native land, and being able to connect with Mandarin, Malay, and perhaps Tamil speaking people in other countries such as the U.S.A., UK, and Australia. A mantra among some of the top marketers is to leverage your strengths and outsource your weaknesses.

The most successful affiliates I know market to groups of people who they understand and can relate well on a more personal level. It is not limited to language, although there is every bit of much as a language barrier in communication with ethnic groups, gender, age, professionals, religious affiliation, and others otherwise known as demographics.

Amazon itself has become the master of marketing by using these concepts and leveraging their research into the buying habits of targeted groups. Most Amazon sales (conservatively estimated at 65% by some industry sources) are through Amazon's own in-house marketing including emailing follow-ups to affiliate-driven visitors and sales.

Considering their 24-hour cookie, it is essential that you build a list of prospects and/or your buyers and get back to them before Amazon does. Some very helpful guides covering the basics in solid marketing concepts which I have often recommended are Seth Godin's book "Permission Marketing", and "Turn Words Into Traffic", by Jim and Dallas Edwards.

What this all means in "English" is marketing strategy in a broad sense involves careful scanning of the internal and external environments. Internal environmental factors include the marketing mix, performance analysis and strategic constraints. External environmental factors include customer analysis, competitor analysis, target market analysis, as well as evaluation of any elements of the technological, economic, cultural or political/legal environment likely to impact success.

You need to provide value. Provide content to them that they would like, and are interested in - don't just email them back with offer after offer.

If your affiliate link is working as you said, and these clicks are from your email promotions, then yes it is very, very bad.

You are either not properly qualifying prospects for your product offers, or your email promotions just aren't connecting with subscribers somehow. I suspect it may be a combination of both.

If you don't want to take my previous recommendation, then alternatively you should consider getting someone with stronger language skills to help write your website content and autoresponder promotion series.
