The point of this post is that my long-term traffic networks are really starting to kick in. Over many years I had built up large social media campaigns and other IM lists. Facebook pages, Twitter profiles, personal email lists, articles, blogs, videos, social bookmarking accounts, directory listings .. and so on.

They were like bits of lost real estate scattered across the Internet, not doing a lot. But with a combined focus with a new offer, this somewhat forgotten portfolio of Internet pages has started to turn into a promotional network powerhouse. Like a rusty, cobwebbed digital machine that has sprung back to life!

Take advantage of all your Internet networks and pages to bring life to your new campaigns. Forgotten IM relics of yours may yet turn in to list building treasure troves!

    yep well said make the most of everything that you have out there.

    If anything lost real estate online can be great lead generation tools or a way to point those otherwise lost visitors to your money sites.

    Yup, I have a rubbish old site but for some reason it ranks well in Yahoo and collects coin month after month. I'd love to enhance it, but I'm kind of scared I would wreck whatever makes it rank.

      Use it as a traffic source to something else? You could have banners or text links etc.

          Exactly! Thank you Dani. I hear from so many marketers that they just cannot seem to get enough traffic and visitors to view their offers etc. Yet many of these same people have old websites and IM projects, ranking high in the search listings, that may have been set up many years ago, and have been all but abandoned. The crazy part is that some of these older pages are even in the same, or similar niche, to new projects they've been working on!

            Maybe it`s not the traffic. It may have something to do with the offers people are getting.

              That is possible, yes. But when quality is there and squeeze pages are well thought out etc, it can be upsetting when traffic numbers/signups remain low in number. Consider leveraging your past networks to give your marketing campaigns a boost!

    WOW! Yeah. I know exactly what you mean. It's happening to me too. It's been building for years... a little here, a little there but damn it's blown up over the years. On one site, we had thousands of spam comments on WP, but we just logged into Myphp back end, changed each comment and BINGO! Suddenly, thousands of great comments from Original IPs!!
