A New Problem I'm Facing

The IP Banned problem seems to have been sorted, thanks Allen and Thomas. But now I have a new problem. Every thread I try to read I get a 404 error.

Is this just me or does anyone have the same problem.

Obviously if you can read this then you won't have the problem.

    Hi Bev,

    It happened to me too earlier, but it somehow just sorted itself out I guess after refreshing and then turning my cpu off and back on.

    I have no idea why it happened but it didn't last long.

    Hopefully it will be back to normal for you soon too.

    That is odd, your post shows fine here, have you tried surfing through a proxy to see if there is a possibility that your ISP is using a proxy caching server?

      well at times when your internet connection is messed up you get that error , although that error is especially for the sanario when the page is not found " correct me if i am wrong" but i have observed this happens with me when my connected messes up .. which is approx. 3 to 4 times in a day :-(

      If others are using the same isp and don't get the same results, then it's down to the scripting for the forum.

        This seems really odd - I honestly don't know what the issue is - but caching on the ISP's part seems the most likely place that is at fault.

    Hi Bev,

    I had the problem yesterday, but it only lasted a short while. I will also mention that it was only happening in the forum, and I had no problem with other sites.

    If I remember correctly, I could view the main category, but once I tried to read any specific posts the error page appeared. Luckily, it lasted a few moments, then all was well.

    It happened to me yesterday. However, you should try restarting, clearing cache, logging in again. It worked like charm. Keep us posted.

      I haven't had that particular problem but I have clicked on various post that would lead me to an error page like "post doesn't exist if it is a valid link contact the admin"

      Probably just some things getting ironed out on the new platform i guess.
