All the sites say my RSS feed is malformed??
Hey just a quick question.
I was looking through a site that I back linked and i noticed that where my rss feed is it says "Incorrect or malformed feed". When you click on the link it takes you to my 404 page.
I dont really know how to fix this? I put this rss feed on over 200 sites, so I am a little bummed that they were for nothing.
This is the extension of the URL when you click on it: mysite.com/blog/feed/
I have one idea of what it may be, when I log into my admin (wordpress by the way) on one of my plugin pages it tells me i need to update my permalinks manually as they cannot do it automatically.
When you click that it takes you to some options, and at the bottom it tells me this :
If your .htaccess file were writable, we could do this automatically, but it isn't so these are the mod_rewrite rules you should have in your .htaccess file. Click in the field and press CTRL + a to select all.
Then it has a little box with some writing in it.
Is this the problem? I would make them writable but really have no clue as to how to do it!
Also it seems that the rss feed i used was for one post?? Is that right, is there an RSS feed that will do its thing whenever i post?
Does anyone have a solution, also if i fix this, will it fix the rss feed error on all the sites it is on?
