Hello all,
I am very brand new to Affiliate Marketing, and well, here is my first attempt at promoting a CB product "Capture His Heart". It is a dating e-book for women. I created a landing page (mainly to help build a list). I have no idea if this is a decent job or not. I need opinions! thank you all. ManCrushMonday - Make Him Fall In Love — ManCrushMonday

    I'd do 2 things:
    - remove the 'name' field from the form - it will increase your conversions
    - remove the spam text - why put that thought into the visitors head?
    Good luck

By spam text are you referring to the area under "about"?
      Thanks for the tips!

Simple and to the point, would just recommend maybe making the headline bigger...

But besides that, you got a great looking squeeze ready to test

        Good job!

He meant the phrase "privacy We value your privacy and would never spam you". Having that message insinuates that spamming is the convention in the space; plus it puts a message in your visitors' minds about the possibility of spam when they haven't previously thought of it.

So you're giving the product by Claire Casey away for free? You posted a picture of the ebook from the full product, that's whT people will be expecting

You need a better headline... and use a different ebook cover to pitch the free report idea.

You might be better off going with an editorialized style of lander, make it look more like an article that actually presells the book.

As of right now there's nothing making me want to read it at all.

The top half of the page refers to the freebie '7 Massive Mistakes....'. The bottom part of the page relates to the 'Capture His Heart Membership Course'. To me, its just confusing.

It would be better if you used this page to 'sell' the freebie and get their email address. Then you can sell the course in follow up emails.

Couple other things I would do that have increased my conversions....

        1) Change the "Get Instant Access" button to blue. We are all conditioned already that blue means to click on the internet.

        2) Change "Email" to "Enter Your Best Email"

        3) Change your copy underneath to highlight the 7 mistakes or elude to them. What they are entering their email for does not match the copy below.

        4) Get a new ecover made for the report you are giving away. Not the actual product you are putting them into a sales funnel for.

1 & 2 are a simple tweak that will add a few % points to your conversions right away.

        Thanks, Shane

I agree with all points except 1). It has been repeatedly proven that colors for buttons don't matter. Visual hierarchy, contrast and the copy of the button matter.

You will probably need some red in there two, either the arrows or the headline text.
Blue is good for relationships, anxiety, mood ect. Red is also good for emotions, sex, anger ect.
Also take out the spam comment and just leave your privacy is safe,
Like I said I made good money with the exback and relationship niche and I say you need the name field in there. This is more personable and make sure you have an email they can mail you at, cause you will get alot of emails of people wanting to cry and ask advice.
I made alot of money in the relationship niche and other wise it looks good.

    Good Luck to you.

P.S. make sure it is single optin, these people are looking for immediate relief and they more than likely won't double, they will just keep searching.

I'd work on the headline. Use this approach:

    Headline [larger text]
    Subheadline [smaller text]

    or

    Subheadline [smaller text]
    Headline [larger text]

In your headline now, there's no qualifier to tell me who the product is for...ladies (I assume)?

    ex.
[headline] Attention Ladies: Frustrated with Your Man? Snag Him for Good
[subheadline] Avoid these seven mistakes, and he'll be devoted to you forever.

Don't judge the words I'm using here...just look at the approach and tailor it to the message you want.

    Looks nice and clean...

I would come up with another variation... a more "uglier" version and then test.

The real key here is to use 1 or 2 traffic sources that you can test MULTIPLE landing/squeeze pages with... and evaluate from there...

Look at which squeeze pages are giving you not just conversions from visitors to subscribers, but visitors to profit/sales is going to be the most important variable to look at here.

no one here has really touched on testing, you would be suprised the amout of increased optins you could get by just testing words in your headline, buttons, more copy less copy

I test 3 versions first, pick the best one, then make another 3 trying to beat my conversion rate. This can have dramatic increase results for your list building and profits if you are doing things properly.

I like the design but your copy needs major work. Just by changing your headline I guarantee you could improve your conversion rate considerably.

    Try these

"The 7 Worst Relationship Mistakes A Woman Could Make"

"7 Mistakes That Will Make Your Man DROP YOU LIKE A BAD HABIT"

"7 Mistakes That Will End Your Relationship TODAY"

"The 7 FASTEST Ways To Scare Your Man Away"

"7 Relationship Killing Mistakes Almost ALL Single Women Make"

"7 Ways To LOSE Your Boyfriend Overnight"

"Make These 7 Mistakes And You Will NEVER Walk Down The Aisle"

Or, you could use the title of the report as your headline which is actually very good:

"7 MASSIVE Mistakes That Make Men RUN"

As for the copy that describes what the subscriber will be getting, it's very confusing and not worded very well.

    Try something like:

"In this EXCLUSIVE excerpt from relationship expert Claire Casey's Capture His Heart And Make Him Love You Forever series, you'll discover the 7 BIGGEST mistakes women with a history of failed relationships make, and how YOU can avoid ending up just like THEM! Just enter your name and best email address into the form above and this closely guarded information can be in your hands in MINUTES! Don't end up going to bed ALONE every night! Get your FREE report RIGHT NOW before I take this page down FOREVER!"

I would recommend getting rid of the "what you could learn" section completely. The idea is to build up so much curiosity they just have to know what's inside that report!

    Hope that helps!
