Amazon sales not getting shipped?

I have been an amazon affiliate and have made several sales and this isn't the first time this happened. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and knew why this occurs from time to time.

I had 4 sales earlier in the month and only 1 has been shipped. It has been over 2 weeks and they are still not showing up under shipped orders. This happened before and it seems like they were never shipped. I can't contact the customer to get any more info so not sure what to do.

Any insights into this? Thanks!

Happened to me too. Not 3 out of 4 but it did happen. I believe this happens when someone cancels an order before it`s shipped.

Ok, I guess that makes sense. I think all 3 were part of the same order from the same website. So maybe the buyer cancelled their collective order. Thanks for the input!

Several reasons a sale may not ship.

As mentioned, an order may be cancelled.

There could be payment problems, like a credit card being turned down.

They may not be able to verify the shipping address satisfactorily.

The sale may be fraudulent, using a stolen credit card number.

You just happened to run into a handful in a short amount of time, but those things happen to everybody.

I assume you have your orders fulfilled by Amazon?

I thought they were REAL good...

We do 150 orders a day through our warehouse and thinking about moving to FBA, your comments are very interesting to hear...

      You appear to have misunderstood.

The OP is asking specifically in relation to affiliate sales generated through Amazon Associates - nothing to do with FBA. As others have said, some orders are delayed or never fulfilled due to cancellation either by the customer or by Amazon themselves for any number of reasons including a simple change of mind, stock issues, payment problems or fraud.

This just happened to me a week ago. I had amazon orders from earlier in the month that did not show "shipped" and after chatting with them online their software is able to tell if you have any connection with the buyer. So, even though some of these sales were not immediate family or people living with me they somehow found out that we are connected otherwise???? I have no idea how their formula works but I am guessing if you call in or use the chat feature they will tell you your sales were "ineligible" for commissions.

        Good Luck
