Can Clickbank affiliates offer bonuses if anyone buys through their affiliate link?

Hi guys,

I'm quite sure Clickbank allows bonuses, but I'm not sure if there are any restrictions or limitations. Could anyone point me to the right direction?

    Yes, there are many ClickBank affiliates offering bonuses... the issue is actualy getting the bonus from the affiliate.

    There is no automatic way set up through CB to deliver affiliate bonuses, so usualy it has to be delivered manually, where the buyers emails the affiliate.

    There are automated ways out there, but nothing that is set up in CB.

    Most affiliates just tell buyers to email them (with a copy of their receipt), then email the bonus to them.

      I've been trying to brainstorm the best way to do this without confusing the customer or losing conversions.

      I guess the best way is to mention a bonus in the sales or review page, and then list an email address for customers to email to me.

      But for banner ads for an affiliate product, like the one I have on the sidebar of my blog, there isn't really a lot of room to give detail instructions on how to claim the bonus, what it is etc. & sell the product...

      Any strategies you guys have thought of?

    Yes you can offer bonuses as an affiliate. To automate this delivery, you can consider using the following scripts:

    1. Butterfly Marketing 2.0 from Mike Filsaime (not sure if it is still available)

    2. Clickbank List Automator from Adrian Ling

    3. Clickbank Bonus Domination from Jeff Czyzewski

      Michael, note ClickBank's policy:


      Affiliates may offer bonuses that are not cash or cash
      equivalents if they adhere to the following:

      1) Affiliate must state clearly and prominently that the
      bonus offer is not the responsibility of ClickBank or of the
      seller of the primary product.

      2) Affiliate must state clearly and prominently that
      ClickBank will not honor any refund requests that are based
      on non-delivery, quality, or functionality of the bonus
      materials.

      3) Affiliate must provide their own direct contact
      information (email address, etc.) and state clearly that any
      issues regarding bonus delivery, bonus functionality, or
      bonus quality must be addressed with the affiliate, not with
      ClickBank or the seller.
