I am Looking for a Quick Host Provider. Anyone?

Hi Guys
I am tired of my current host as my sites load super slow and sometimes they dont load at all.

Do you have any real experience with a hosting company that offers quick hosting. Pls do not comment if you just read about a hosting company. I am looking for people where their site loads in about 3 seconds or less on average....

    you can go with Terabyet - Shared, VPS, Dedicated, Affordable Web Hosting I have one of my classified website with them from 1 years and never had a problem.

    Most shared server plans won't give you lightning speed loading times, they are generally
    overloaded to make up for the cheaper pricing.
    You can either try and optimize your site (smaller image files etc.) or you can go for a plan that limits the number of sites hosted on a single server (VPS, Dedicated etc. More expensive)...

      Thanks...so is a vps much quicker in your experience? Is there a big difference between download speed for shared and vps? Thanks so much for your responses..

        No, not always. Sounds like you just need a better web host.

      Visitors doesn't have anything to do with it. "Visitors" doesn't equate to resource usage.

      7-9 seconds? Sounds like you either need to work on those sites or get a better web host.

      A VPS is going to come into play when you need isolation, customization, or need more resources.

      Just because you "get a lot of visitors" doesn't mean you need a VPS.

    well i am actually using hostgator.com seems like their service is falling apart. But I am not sure which is the best one out there....pls help and pls be honest about this because its really affecting my business and the last thing I want is another host that is slow...

    I've used about 10 different hosts in my lifetime but discovered asmallorange.com about 5 years ago. I've never been inclined to switch since then.

    Site load time is important, but even more important is uptime. ASO has never failed me in that regard.

    I'm using site5.
    Also with shared hosting the speed is good because there is a resource usage limit.
    Futhermore you can choose location of your host (europe or usa) also with shared hosting.
