Moneyback guarantee...REALLY?

Most trustworthy internet marketers offer a moneyback guarantee on their products.

But is this really any guarantee?

I just purchased a CPA product thinking it was real good - fell for the hype - my bad.

The product comes with a 60 day money back guarantee.

I have contacted the seller - as in, the maker of the product - sent him 4 mails - have not got any reply.

One of his support email ids is a fraud - it bounces.

The affiliate from who I made the purchase has no contact details - the maker of the product does not respond to emails.

Of course, I will be taking this up with Paypal and reporting this seller to various scam sites and also the BBB.

BUT -
What moneyback guarantee is this?'

It gives IM a bad name - when such sellers are around!

You will get your money back through paypal as long as they didn't physically ship you something with a tracking number on it. So because you used paypal there is the 60 day guarantee.

Unless it was a ton of money I wouldn't put too much energy into it.

You said 60 day guarantee, Was it with "Clickbank", if so, just go to clickbank to get the refund, or whatever the network that it was sold through

I feel your pain. But dont let it get the best of you. Continue to be a good seller, ignore this dude, and stay focused on your business career.

Swings and roundabouts. The fact you fell for the hype, and got scammed, should hold you in good stead for the foreseeable future.

If it's Clickbank, you can get a refund without the seller's permission. If you bought it here in the WSO forum, leave a polite note in the thread and then use the triangle icon (report button) and report it to a mod. They will close it down for not honoring a posted refund policy.

You can also take up the issue with paypal.

The chances of getting your refunds from paypal might not be fair but if many buyers raise similar dispute am sure his paypal will be limited.

if its a clickbank product the go around is send an email to REFUNDS@CLICKBANK.COM with the clickbank receipt #.

You ACTUALLY bought it from clickbank not the seller. Its a charge for clickbank on your paypal etc..

You never have to speak to the owner when its a clickbank product. Just don't be a serial refunder as you will get banned.

If its just some dudes site and you bought thru paypal. Then report it via paypal. You can request a refund via the paypal option know the transacation # etc.. Then give it a few days for the owner to respond if they do not. (they get notice from paypal that you have a problem) if they don't respond make a CLAIM with paypal. (if they fail to respond paypal automatically awards your money after 30 days, but more important is paypal holds/withdrawals the money from their account right away until they get to the bottom of it.

I hope you get your money back
