Anyone know of a plugin or code that converts a URL into an image or thumbnail like they do on Facebook? Especially for a WordPress blog.

I use imgur: the simple image sharer
for the exact reverse - creating a url from an image. Not sure if they can offer the opposite process, but worth contacting them about it.

There's umpteen convert image to URL procedures out there. The Facebook solution would be real helpful and I don't know why someone hasn't come up with a plugin yet.
