An estimation from those who sell their own products...

hi everybody.

i need your help in a short business plan i make.
assuming i have a good info product that can really help people in a big niche market. about 1 milion searches for main keywords every month and about 30 milion google results.
also assuming we have 3 people working on it part time.
this is a video product being sold in about 50$-60$.

if the product is ready and i have a good professional converting sales page and i have affiliates promoting it and i also promoting it myself. and a brand new blog which i write articles in.

what would be a normal income estimation per month after 12 months assuming things go well? would 10,000$ income a month is aiming too high? too low?

how much did you guys earn after a year of selling your own product?

Thanks for your help. i appreciate it

You will never know until you launch it. It could be $100,000 or it could be $50 to many things to go wrong and to happen or not happen to tell what your results would be. But just so you know your pre launch is the most important step of all.

Put more efforts in your pre launch campaign.
If you have strong affiliates to promote for you, then you can expect a lot better results.

    That's really tough to say.

I know with my product I went into not expecting a single sale....fast forward a few weeks and it's doing pretty well.

If it is a big niche market you need to ask yourself how you will acquire the customers.

1 million searches on a keyword implies an intensely competitive area with plenty of competition in the SE's and big keyword costs in PPC.

Your product may well be good, but you still need potential customers to see that.

I aquire all my customers through PPC. But, be aware of which PPC companies you use for this.. Some have junk traffic

Definitely work on your prelaunch! I am currently making a full time living off direct sales of my own product and the major boost at the beginning got me going.
