How to Attract the Best Affiliates

Hi there,

I'm building a new affiliate program using Infusionsoft to promote my health and wellness products.

What type of incentives, resources, and support do quality affiliates look for in choosing a company to promote?

What would inspire you to choose to promote a meditation and wellness product?

Nothing would inspire me to promote your product. That's because my sites don't match your niche ;-)

I don't know what "quality" affiliates look for, I can tell you what I look for

- high commission (no less than 50%)
- prizes for top affiliates
- affiliate program ran by a 3rd party serious company (unless I know very well the seller)
- appropriate sales letter
- nice-looking appropriate banners (multiple sizes)

Good marketing tools:

PPC keywords, PPC ads, product reviews, articles, solo ad emails, squeeze page template, email marketing letters, etc... basically alot of promotional material that THEY dont want to create.

Affiliates look for 2 things. Sales and conversions. Find a way to market your initial products so you get good stats on those counts. Then you'll start attracting affiliates. Then as you progress you can get into contests, etc. One step at a time.

It is hard to attract the kind of affiliate that will get out there and hit the ground running, however you can provide them with information that will give them hope which leads to persistence which leads to sales. The best way to do this is through news letters!
