    He's talking about having multiple social flagship blogs, not niche marketing blogs. I agree that running more than one blog that depends primarily upon social networking traffic (Digg, StumbleUpon, Twitter, etc) and RSS readership traffic is difficult.

    However, if you depend primarily on search engine traffic you can run many more blogs and not concern yourself so much with the social aspects of blogging. For example, I have WordPress blogs that I haven't touched significantly in nearly two years. However, they get traffic in the 800-1200 visitors a day range and people leave comments that I answer. 98% of the visitors to these blogs are from search engines.

      Do you track those visitors in terms of CPA? pages visited?

      Dont you think with more attention to a few you could earn more money?
