Newbie looking for some advice

Hey, everyone!

I have just started my adventure into IM and I've decided to start with affiliate marketing using ClickBank.

I've been reading up on methods of making sales and money with ClickBank and I started a niche yesterday which I think might have potential, so I have purchased the domain name and have set up the redirect.

What I would like is some advice and hopefully some structured criticism from some people who know what they're talking about.

If you'd like to give me a little bit of advice, post below or PM me and we can talk on Skype.

Many thanks,

Ryan

I was looking for someone who could maybe tell me if my niche is any good and how I could get some traffic to it to get some sales.

If I got you correctly you have already been to Clickbank, chosen a niche, picked a product, purchased a domain and redirected that domain to the offer you want to promote.

If so, why are you asking for an advice about the niche now? Wouldn't it be smarter to ask that question before you did all that work?

I agree, it's a bit late to ask about your Niche now...
Did you do any "keyword research" before choosing your Niche? That would have given you a good indication as to whether your Niche is any good...

My point is that don't question yourself middle in the process. If you want advice, ask them first. Before you take any action, and when you run. RUN.

My advice: run with it. Do mistakes. Learn in the process.

When it comes to traffic, there are many many options. Some method is free other is paid. Sample: banner ads, FB ads and FB pages about the problem your product solves. Videos, etc.

    Best wishes.

My advice is have a system in place you can follow each and everyday for your business. Furthermore, if you really want to be successful at this, I suggest building a brand and authority with a blog or using any other marketing channel giving helpful and useful advice that actually helps people.

In my opinion, it's not necessarily about the money, the money is a by product of the value that you give. It's rather getting a large following behind you that love and trust you. When you have that, it becomes a compounding effect in terms of money.

Also, also second advice is to make sure to start building an email list and build a relationship with that list by giving valuable information.

Now in terms of traffic, there are a few ways you can do this. You can use PPC and Free Traffic method. I see PPC as a way to help build your brand and your list faster and free traffic is a good way to increase profit margins.

A good method to get free traffic and lots of it is by convincing other bloggers or website owners to send traffic your way by incentivizing them and giving them a good reason to send you traffic. Here's a great article by Derek Halpern on the drafting technique:

How to Earn Your First Link From A Major Blogger (or Major Media Outlet)

Other free methods are things like, forums if you know what you're doing you can get you tons of traffic.

Furthermore, if you want to try PPC, you can try finding a high value, low cost ($5-$50) product that can help your prospects. Build a landing page around it, and see if you can break even on advertising costs. Be honest, I never tried this method before since I just thought about this a couple days and going to test it out myself when I can.

But the point is there are plenty of ways to get traffic and sell products. The main thing that you make sure you do is 1. Provide value to your prospects or customers 2. Always try to get the lead everything I mentioned above is about getting the lead 3. Building your email list.

I'm just getting really confused at this point. There's so much information out there and it's just overflowing in my brain and I just don't know what to do. I really need someone to talk to, to get me going and to give me a good push start. Have you or anyone else got Skype or AIM so I can just talk to you? Thanks.

        Hi,

I'm a newbie as well and even though I haven't got as far as promoting something off click bank you do need to do your homework like I haveSTILL GOT A LOT TO DO THOUGH.

I have personally started my IM career by signing up to Chris Farrell Membership and bought the a Christine Clayfield e book.

Its okay to make mistakes and I'm sure I'm going to make a few but from what i can understand in my short time here on this forum, its all about the following...
        • Do your homework, read some quality not not quantity e books.
        • Ask the right questions in this forum and I guarantee that you will get some quality answers.
        • Identify a profitable niche. It will help somewhat if you have a interest in the product because that way your passion will shine through, giving you potentially better results.
        • Build a list of clients but remember its all about relationship building. Once you got those clients don't forget them. Its all about about gaining the trust of people and building a great reputation.
        • Market and promote add ons that are relevant to your niche.
        • The most important thing to understand is that it won't happened over night and you must not give up as soon as it gets tough. You have to remember to see the bigger picture and as i always say.....

SHORT TERM PAIN FOR A LONG TERM GAIN

I hope this helps. Please Warrior members correct me if I was wrong in what I just advised.

          Good luck my friend.

I agree running with it and making mistakes and learning from them is half the battle and half the fun. You are in the water now so swim.

    Hi,

Before you throw any traffic at your new set up...

...Make sure you add those leads onto an email list.

That way you own a very valuable asset that you can market to
    again and again.

If your set up converts well enough you can quickly re-invest
and build your list much faster.

Check out the sellers leaderboard for some products in your niche, check out the top selling people and have a look at what they are doing and how they are doing it.

Of course don't copy them out right by pick up on their strong points in their marketing methods and integrate them into your process.
