I've tried both methods in the past and both have pros and cons. But ultimately all who opt in the funnel are not our targeted prospects and we can't please everybody. The advantage of email series is that you can build a bondage with your audience and slowly they would expect your emails, if you crafted the emails such a way to raise curiosity and jam-packed with good contents and story telling. On your last email series, you can send them the PDF.

i would everything in one go - you can use the end of the pdf to promote affiliate/back end offers anyway which is probably what you will do in the a/r sequence

From experience, it depends on two primary factors: The e-course quality & The e-course is paid or free.

The e-course quality. A high quality e-course vs. a low quality e-course always gets 'The Click' to product sales in my own email campaigns. The trick is to deliver valuable information in the first email.. information so valuable to the subscriber that they can not do without the information & more importantly the subscriber does not want to wait for additional emails with additional valuable information.

The e-course is paid or free. Most subscribers will pay for the entire e-course when the information is high quality and the information can put into action immediately. There are people who will take days to put the information in action. Offer two options: The paid e-course is delivered instantly & the free e-course is delivered via multiple emails mailed out every 2 to 3 days.

This way you brand yourself and your business as The Go To Source.. which puts money into your pocket.

One way to do it all is to create a membership site where paid members login to download the information & you can always promote related offers.. example would be Volume 2 of the original information.

No reason you can't do both. All of my e-courses are delivered via Aweber + PDF incorporating video summaries along the way. I started with email only, problem is too many deliverable challenges - get a fair number of people saying they never got email 2 or 3 or whatever. If they have the PDF as well, then they can review it at their own pace AND you have the ongoing inbox presence with the lessons as well. No hurt in doing both.

Some good suggestions, ill take them into consideration thanks. Most likely I think i will do both just in case they miss one of the emails.

i will say the email aweber series, this will afford you the opportunnity of incorporating their feedback into upcoming series, or email you will be sending next.

It will let you take them in a gradual process and not just deliver in a lump pack which may choke some of them if not all of them.

And may even eventually pack dust on some people PC

Offering a short (7-10 page) PDF book for sign up followed up by a 30 day series of tips on the same niche might be useful. The subscriber gets the gratification of a 'gift' via the PDF file while you have the chance to follow up for a full month with tiny bite sized info chunks that expand on some of the concepts discussed in your ebook. If the subscriber was interested enough to read the ebook and stay subscribed, then they will be ready for the next few things you have to say. Just make sure they are good.

I'd give it to them in one e-course. Personal preference. Both can work though. Not an exact science.
