It all depends on the offer and how well it converts.

It is far less competition but that does not mean that they will convert.

    test, test, test!

The gravity does not tell you much.

If the gravity is high it merely tells you that a lot of people try
to promote an offer and make some sales along the way. Whether
they are making a profit is a completely different question.

I had best success with products that have some gravity but not too much.
Something between 10 and 80 or 100 max seems to work.

But ultimately there is no other way to tell than test.

Instead of focusing too much on Gravity, ask yourself these questions:

    1. Is the product high-quality?
    2. Is the product a match to your traffic, mail list, and followers?
    3. Does the product sales page siphon off your ability to "sell" by pulling them into the products sales funnel instead of yours?
    4. Is it a product that provides high value to you?
    5. Have you contacted the product owner to find out how responsive they are and how you two can work together to make more sales?
    6. Is the sales page excellent? (Not good, excellent...)
    7. Will the product owner allow you to test your own sales page against his?

Most low gravity products miss the mark on one of the items above. Most frequently on either the quality level, or the "excellence of sales page" issue.

If the product is good and in demand you will sell it, depending on your marketing efforts.

The gravity doesn’t give you any guarantee.

What do you think about high gravities, like 150 and above? From my point of view, they are a good indicator that the product sales, and that a big number of people can make it work.

When it comes to making sales gravity is completely irrelevent. Even CB sales pages don't matter that much (another myth).

Target the right keywords and you will make sales. I've done exceptionally well with the "how to start a quilt shop" product.

Gravity around 2, sales page is pretty poor but who cares? If someone is looking to start a quilt shop it's just the guide they need.

Another high converter - gravity is a massive 0.49.

test test and test some more

when I see gravity I start looking around how much competition I have

you could have a zero gravity and have a super converting product

don't follow the crowds start thinking out of the box

I look at gravity as someone else did their test and got to the riches before you

good luck try to think out of the box and what others tell you, once you know this don't be afraid to test

Amen. Ignore gravity, focus on longtail keywords, and test.

I made over 6 figures last year with Clickbank, and gravity isn't one of the things I look at when I promote.

I don't base my choice on gravity at all.

One of the things I promote on CB has a gravity of less than 5 and it sells like crazy.

I wouldn't concern yourself with gravity.

I look at average sale, and to see if the product is good.

Then you want to look at the affiliate page and find out the EPC (earnings pr click) that's all you have to look at.

Send traffic to the offer if it converts and is profitable keep sending traffic, if it's not, then then stop and find a new offer.

Most people teaching affiliate marketing tend to confuse a very simple thing.

Yes it's worth promoting low gravity products if they make sense to you and if you are promoting to a target audience. For example, there's a real estate product (creprogram) with has low gravity but it's generating me over $3,000+ residual monthly income. There are couple products with low gravity that are generating really good profit for me. You have to check the product, research the market, find out what people want and who those people are...then send them the offer. You'll find some clickbank products have very low gravity but when you do your research you'll find out there's a big demand if you promote it right..meaning you create your own landing page, collect leads, then promote.

Sometimes low gravity is better because the competition is very low. I would request a "review copy" from the promoter to see if is something you will feel comfortable promoting.. Usually they will give it to you...

We Make 10k a month on clickbank, and the gravities is in the ranges of 3.75 - 10 :-)

    say no more.

most ebooks, and so called coaches get this wrong when teaching. Gravity plays a small part in our success. :-)
