    What CMS are you using?

I can't imagine that merging the sites would go well for SEO if they are already ranking well.

Maybe there is just a better way to manage the sites.

Well rank websites is like your virtual real estate. I don't think that updating routine is a good reason to give up your assets. You just refuse from your SEO advantages otherwise. I would recommend to find a good system to automate your websites update.

Given that you run Wordpress blogs I would recommend some tools to automatically update your websites: RSSGround.com (automatically make posts using RSS content), SGWsoft.com (several options, including posting articles form article directories).

Copy and paste would be the simplest way. You can always hire a student or someone on fiverr.com to do it for you if there's a lot of content.

Just get a brand new domain and install new Wordpress.

Then compile all your articles and images together before copying and pasting into your Wordpress blog.

That's what I do for my health and wellness blog.

You can PM me if you are interested to know more.

If you use Wordpress Multisite you can run all websites on one installation of Wordpress, if they are all on the same server. It's easy to setup, but you can search the Special Offers forum for a plugin that makes it even easier, WPEmpireBuilder.

It is a lot harder for many to rank websites well now days. Are you sure you want to give that up? - the traffic and sales may slow down quite a bit putting your info on a new site. That may never rank as well again.

And it is not a matter of just re ranking it. If you move something now, you must also check if your articles have been copied anywhere, send out cease and desist emails and get that cleaned up, or your re posted articles will appear to be duplicates.

I have a site that covers a large topic and have moved smaller website articles and reviews over if it does not do well in a year, to make a subtopic. So it certainly will work, but never count on it doing as well as it may have to start with.
