Double refund if customer raise paypal claim but process refund through JVZoo?

Hi guys,

I want to refund a customer through JVZoo but he has already gone ahead and raise a claim in paypal.

If I issue a refund now through the JVZoo system, will there be a double refund to the customer whereby the customer gets the refund from JVZoo but the dispute in Paypal is still not resolved?

Is this possible?

if they filed a dispute, don't refund through the other channel. If its credit card fraud you may be paying out more than you received and may take awhile to sort out. I would handle the dispute with paypal.

No clue why people have issues with services and come here to ask general questions about them before looking at the source.

The link says "The Partial Refund will refund all money paid to JVZoo, affiliates and JVs."

          It doesnt say refund WHO?

When a PayPal claim is made, our system will not allow you to double refund the buyer. You will get the option for the Partial Refund, which refunds fees paid to JVZoo and any affiliate you paid.

      Mind asking,

if the affiliate I happen to give instant payment commission

and i already paid but there is refunds later..so the affiliate keep my commission ? or they also refund the commission to me?

which I check around many claim you cannot get back the commission given to your affiliate.

whereas some claim , if there is a refund , your affiliates also their commission will be refund?

      hmm..

This is absolutely not true. I had a customer file a dispute. They won the dispute, case closed. I paid the $20. fee and the customer got all his money back from Paypal.

I wanted to get back my fees from JVZOO. I emailed JVZOO and they said to go ahead and refund the sale even though the dispute was closed and the customer had already received his money.

I specifically said I did not want to double refund the customer.

They said I would receive an error then I would be able to get the refund of my fees and that the system would stop any double refund.

I processed the refund through JVZOO and JVZOO refunded the entire amount again to the customer! So the customer got his money back from Paypal originally. Then JVZOO sent them their money back again. So I ended up paying the customer an additional $67! The customer was double refunded.

This is exactly what JVZOO told me was impossible.

I checked my account and it showed my balance going down by $67. and it shows the previous refund by Paypal.

    JVZOO double refunded my customer.

I have a ticket in to JVZOO but no response as of yet.

For me I never do refund inside JVzoo which they claim do inside Jvzoo NOT in your pay pal.

than I keep received chargeback and Pay pal automatic will review and fund..

yes I saw my amount in PayPal decrease as refund gone

to me ....I not sure i still puzzle even email the Jvzoo support they do reply to me about the refund...

they mention must check the transaction ID from pay pal than back o Jvzoo ...and confirm and check refund inside jv zoo ..NOT in your pay pal.

I was thinking myself I have many charge back.....due to " bad affiliates ..where their list are bad "

a lot chargeback on my side...if I go one by one like this isn't funny?

so I let Pay Pal do the refund...where in Jvzoo I never click refund...

But I check the sales , in fact some close and stated refunded..as Pay Pal refund the money to buyer.

anyway one thing I notice .recently in Jvzoo is a lot vendor encounter a lot of " charge back , refund from their affiliates "

I not sure for those regularly selling their products in Jvzoo ...

as I new as vendor ....selling products inside and encounter this issues.

      hmm..
