Need some pointers for Celebrity photos.

INTERNET MARKETING

Hey warriors!
Guess some of you are into this niche and I will appreciate some pointers.Planing to lunch a fashion/celebrity niche site this summer and was wondering where I could get not so expensive Celebrity photos.

Already discovered Pr photos and was wondering if there are others? Not the big guys

Any good suggestions will be appreciated.

For celebrity images, I use a combination of www.Allposters.com , Amazon books with the celeb on the cover and/or embedded Youtube videos.

Another option is to create a Blinkx "Wall of Video" and embed it on your site/page/post.

Here's one for "Denzel Washington":

I came across this site today All Star Pics, Pictures of the Stars, Celebrity Pics, Entertainment Photos but I am still a bit nervous. I went through their terms and conditions and found this line.

6. Proprietary Rights in Content on Lucy Media.

Lucy Media does not claim any ownership rights in the text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, musical works, works of authorship, applications, or any other materials (collectively, "Content") that you post on or through the Lucy Media Services. By displaying or publishing ("posting") any Content on or through the Lucy Media Services, you hereby grant to Lucy Media and other users a non-exclusive, fully paid and royalty-free, worldwide, limited license to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce and translate such Content, including without limitation distributing part or all of the Site in any media formats through any media channels. I am not a lawyer and honestly, these things get me confused sometime. I do not want to end up in the bin, which is why I am taking my time to get things in place leaving no room for error..

What's your take on this? Is it safe to use images from this site? Is anyone using them or used them before with no problem?

I don't think that would offer you any protection if the person who uploaded to that site didn't have the rights to the picture in the first place.

They have an option to embed the image. I would use that.

Then you are not hosting or owning the image. If there is an issue with copyright and the image host is sued and takes down the picture then your link will break.

If you are contacted about the image you can show that you do not own or host the image but are simply displaying it from the other site.
