contemplating on giveaway

I want to ask about gift and bonuses that giving by other people.
I know those people whom done giveaway or free gift or bonuses could be beneficial to many other people.. or some could actually mean nothing for their end.
I'm thinking to give away some reports of mine, however this reports are and will be used for my upcoming product launch.

People like me "the new guy" has no brand yet nor not "well-known" yet..
Will you still give your bonuses / report out, in order to boost name?:confused:

PS: Some reports are very valuable in terms of time consumed to collect from months to months or deep in-depth research.

    Hi,

    As a beginner you should be giving away a niche related free gift (of value) to build your list anyway.

    If you're new with no past successes to leverage and no existing audience you're going to struggle to make sales.

    People only buy from those they know and trust and offering something of value for free not only builds your email list, it gives you an opportunity to build long lasting relationships with your audience.

    I would say that giving a small product you made away for free is only ok for a blog. That An incentive for them to subscribe to your email list is important.

    If its for your upcoming launch, I would list it as either a free WSO or a $1 WSO, assuming its an Internet Marketing product.

      Understood. I'm currently partnering up with One of the Top IM Guru, leveraging on he's audience.
      But yes, i understood people only buy from those they know.

      Hi Luke, to build a list is important and yes Money is in THE LIST..
      Based on your topic link i've read, giving free WSO vs $1 WSO..

      If i give free WSO, will people even opt-in? say this forum's members..
      If I give $1 WSO, some of them may not accept that this are not valuable stuff (in which I very certain it is).
      After purchase, if unpleasant, they will leave bad reviews or good based on what they pay to receive (this will be bad o good for product before it launched).
