Building Amazon site from scratch

Hi everyone, I am building my very first amazon site under coaching session with a well-known,helpful warrior. I open this thread for several reasons:
1. To document my journey, step by step.
2. To provide real case study for everyone if I succeed.
3. To provide lesson if my site fail.
4. To help newbie understand how to build amazon site from scratch and estimated time required.

10, April, 2014: Made payment for coaching program
11-14, April, 2014: Niche selection:
How I find niche:
I find keyword first, niche later.
Using Long Tail Pro/Platinum, my keyword research process is:
1. Browse Amazon category
2. Pick 5 categories as 5 keywords
3. Put 5 keywords in Long Tail Pro
- Include: best, review, reviews, top (buyer keywords)
- Exclude: free, diy, home made, sale, deal
- Apply filter:
Local search volume: Min-1000
Average CPC: Min- 0.1
Number of words: Min - 2
- Click generate
4. Choose keyword with Keyword Competitiveness less than 32 (the lower the better), add to idea list.
5. Rinse and repeat.
At the end of 14, I found 67 potential keywords and 67 potential niches accordingly.
