I'm quite confused with these terms but here them so often and would like to understand clearly what they mean.

1. I here niche a lot of people who sell things. Isn't it pretty much the target market of what your selling categorizes in? Like for example if i am selling a method on making money like any other person here, what would that fall under, IM niche, money making niche? It's quite confusing and i know it all matters because when buying clicks from people. It all depends on what niche your selling in because of how it will attract your audience/viewers? I'm just quite confused there and if you could sum things down and explain somewhat of my confusion it would be greatly appreciated.

2. Then with solo ads, isn't that pretty much people selling clicks?

If i somewhat confused you, sorry about that I am just trying to get an understanding.

A niche is a specific segment of a market you are interested in. Let us say that you have a market for dresses, you choose to sell dresses for business women (this is your segment) and if you choose to sell dresses for fat business women, this is your niche. I cannot explain this better.

Solo Ads are your ads that are mailed out to people's subscribers list.

Yes - most of what you see with solo ads are people selling by a click basis but that is not always true. For example - you can place a solo ad with a newsletter/e-zine owner & they mail that out to all or a portion of their subscribers for a flat rate fee.

I'm getting a variety of results with solo ads from people who charge a per click basis - ranging from good to poor to flat-out scams (just caught one person sending bogus subscribers/clicks because my double opt-in showed 0% confirmed subscriptions). One thing I realized as well that sellers will often write their own ad copy & ignore your ad copy. Sometimes that is not all bad if your ad/swipe copy or subject line sucks. They often won't tell you that. I even signed up with solo ad reseller & all I enter is the URL (AdTracker URL) so obviously the suppliers write the copy there.

    1. a niche is an over used word used by many internet marketers who have no idea what they are talking about. I never hear any of my super millionaire mentors talking about niches.

    2. A solo ad is a way to target your ideal audience and put your offer in front of the right crowd. Making money is all about putting the right offer in front of the right people. Which there are many ways to do beside solo ads.

Renting lists (solos) is just one way to do that

It's not the fact that you can just Google it and find the definition of the word. It's the understanding part, and if the definition is somewhat confusing there are people that have a better explanation of that word which at times can be a lot more helpful than a denotative word.
