Folks, where could I find a list of High Net Worth forex traders who would be interested in using an automated robot? this isnt any of your mickey mouse robot stuff that you see being flogged, this is something where hundreds of thousands was spent developing it and therefore that is the reason it is only being offered to high net worth individuals who will be able to invest big...

If the robot is working why aren´t you using it yourself or sell it to a bank?

I hope you don´t mind that question, just curiosity...

firstly, i dont have the funds to use it myself, otherwise i would be doing so, secondly, a trading house is taking it on board, the more success stories it has the better it will be

InfoUSA is a good place to start looking. Probably the best source but it's really geared toward actual snail mail marketing, which for you might be a good thing anyway.

You can also try NextMark.com as a source for email specific marketing.

If you know anything about forex the space is filled largely with people with $500 and under accounts thinking they can earn five thousand a month trading. So you probably want to avoid forum marketing.

To me, I'd go with InfoUSA and a snail mail program to get people to visit a website and get a free report that gives some good solid trading info that leads to people buying the bot.

Also, if your bot actually works (and I've yet to find one that actually does but I digress) then consider charging LESS for the bot but charging monthly.

This way part of your pitch can be that you're so sure it works that you're charging monthly because you know that no one that uses it will want to give it up. That allows you to charge less up front while still making enough from the bot to be worth it to you to sell access to it.

    Hope this helps.

thanks for the info, but i am not actually charging for it! i am taking a percentage of the return the client makes, that way its win win for everyone and shows confidence in the robot

Why not target both..the high net worth gang and the everyday man...the big guys you take a percentage...the small guys you set up PAMM accounts and charge monthly...different name/website etc...and you increase the value of the EA covering different forex traders...both have their own value.

I have yet to find an EA that worked over a long period of time...some can last a while with monster stops, if you have what you say you have, don't limit yourself.

Doesn't matter how much was spent developing it, no robots can predict the future. Yes, markets have trends that come and go but no robot can predict things 100% and so you'll find it hard to convince people to lay their money on the line, especially when you are asking them to lay a lot of money on the line.

As stated above, if you were so sure it worked, why wouldn't you be using it yourself? Even if you had a to get a loan? If I knew something could turn $x into $y I would be doing it all day long and not wasting my time on trying to sell the robot to others.

    Just saying...

P.S. Every single robot I have seen come out always has the same spiel. Thousands was spent developing it and it's nothing like all the robots that have come before. Hmmm.

    There isn't such a thing.

No "high net worth" forex traders are interested in using automated robots (though plenty of losers are), because they understand that if it were possible for one to make consistent profits, its manufacturer would be leasing it to a hedge-fund for tens or hundreds of thousands per month, not trying to sell it on the internet to "high net worth individuals". That's why hedge-funds (and other "finance/investment houses") are employing highly skilled, experienced professionals on substantial salaries to examine, research and test products/services which make such claims.

High net worth individual forex traders also tend to be people who are perfectly well aware that whereas as it's trivially easy, these days, to produce by backfitting/overfitting a robot which can be proved to have made consistent profits over recent months/years in the forex markets, unfortunately (but not surprisingly) that doesn't correlate at all to their chances of continuing to make the same (or any) profits over future months.

As others have rightly implied above, this story doesn't stand up to examination for even 5 seconds. If hundreds of thousands had been spent developing it, it wouldn't be being offered online to "high net worth individuals" - it would already be being financed by Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, DeutscheBank or someone like that. The fact that it isn't speaks volumes.

Here's a good book which will help you (actually there are many). If nothing else, it will help you to re-think what you're trying to do: The Predictors: How a Band of Maverick Physicists...The Predictors: How a Band of Maverick Physicists...

I totally agree that bots are not the best answer in the long run. I have used a couple of them and while I did see some initial successes, ultimately it would fail. These are geared as predictors and there are far too many factors that have to be accounted for in FOREX markets than straight trends.

Just so her well reasoned and totally accurate assessment doesn't
stand alone I agree 100% with everything Alexa wrote above.

High net worth prospects aren't stumbling around the internet looking for a
robot to do their trading. I doubt they'd give two seconds of consideration to
such a pipe dream. How do you think they got to be high net worth?
