I'm sorry but that's flawed advice. How well off would we all be if Medical schools said "There's the library...go and learn medicine...it's all there for free - no need to pay us to teach you. Just ask anyone walking past if you have any questions".

The obvious reason to pay someone to help you is to gain structure, know what questions to ask, what to study and more importantly...what to study FIRST and of course to save time - years and years of wasted time wondering aimlessly through the 1 million threads on here.

Guides and plans are useful. Not always useful to you at the time you need that info but it's all education and because there's no "internet school" to guide us as to who to trust there's a chance you'll buy some vague or useless (to you) information.

I get a lot of great ideas from free reports if you're bank is thin but you should be learning or investigating something every day. Soon you'll come across something that speaks to you and you'll have a trail to follow.

This may or not lead to success but you will travel some distance along your path. There are so many cool and exciting ways to make money using the internet that the main problem I think is we're spoiled for choice.

You're just going to have to keep looking and learning. You'll push through.

I could have written them myself, but I wanted/needed a step by step guide to JVZoo marketing. And other resources that had me at "Within 7 days you'll"...

Yes, whatever you do do NOT buy any more education or ideas. Education is bad, ideas are worse, they will only lead you astray. You should be able to figure it all out by yourself just by reading and asking.

I was actually considering selling my appendix first, but I did not know if there was a market for that.

You don't have to sell your spleen. There's ways to start small and scale.

1. Find an offer
2. Create a landing page for that offer (make it unique)
3. find a good solo seller or join sites like safe-swaps... spend $30 to $35 on solo ads for 100 clicks. Find a proven solo seller who has good rating and sales.

Also find a good mentor for internet marketing.

I'm someone who's been obsessed with making money online since I was a kid.

In my opinion (people will send me hatemail for this) - the BEST SKILL you can ever have is your ability to research.

A lot of gurus will say "hire me"... But this isn't always the best idea.

Reason being... Lots of gurus are successful because of their own unique traits and qualities... Your own unique strengths might be completely different.

More wise? - Find someone you want to be like. And emulate them. :]

Sell your brain, there is a huge need for brains these days, not many people have them.

In all seriousness though, I wouldn't keep buying more training. Here is what you need.

1. something to sell
2. a system to capture leads and follow up with leads automatically
3. A source of traffic either free or paid.

when you sit down at the computer focus on driving traffic all day, let your system capture and convert them.

Add a new follow up email everyday, then focus on getting as much quality targeted traffic as you can in a day.

You can't sell your spleen. There is no market for it. There is only a market for things that can be transplanted into others.

Corneas are the probably the simplest, because with cornea transplants you don't have to receive anti-rejection treatment. But if you sell both you'll be blind.

You can sell part of your liver. The whole liver isn't needed because part of a liver is enough.

You can sell one kidney and you should be fine.

Skin can be used for treatment of burn victims. But I don't think I would recommend selling your skin.

You might get something for bone marrow.

Then there is the heart. It would bring the best price, but you wouldn't be able to spend it.

One thing you might want to consider is being a gestational surrogate, meaning carring an embryo for someone else. That is, if you have 9 months to spare.

There are two ways I find to make good money online. There is network marketing (using the power of a multi level network of people you build to promote a product or your own) and internet marketing (Quickest way to make a sale by promoting an affiliate product or yours).

I do both and the good reason is that my network marketin mlm Makes me long term residual passive income and internet marketing is quick money when I need it (can be long term passive as well.).

MLM does take work consistency and persistance to create your team but inspiring them and coaching them is the best part! Building real relationships.

Internet marketing is simple:

It's simple - not easy - simple!

A) Find a product that you know sells well
B) write your own version of it as your product or choose to become an affiliate.
C) Find a way and research how you can get in front of traffic that is interested in the product.
D) Send them to your sales page or to your product review.

There are plenty of grey area
Of course but if you simplify something complicated it seems less daunting

Now to find out how well a product sells Check the Clickbank stats.

Want to create your own product?

You have been doin it for 5 years, should be simple.

How do you get in front of targeted traffic?

Plenty of ways including forums, posting (guest posting) on blogs in the niche. Your own blog using a bit of SEO. Submit videos to YouTube and embedding to your post. Doing solo ads and paid ads to scale fast is the best way well.

Now be an action taker and dont be afraid to mess stuff up! Thats what entrepreneurship is all about

Never believe that there is a secret sauce or a magic potion or selling spleen! It is consistency, getting your hands dirty and enjoying every struggle and victories that comes!

PS. Listen to Pat Flynn from smart passive income, he has great advices on how to create niche sites from scratch and he is very transparent on how he makes his money.

I too love your thread title and appreciate your humour.

IMHO, The quickest way to make money is by either providing services - preferably something that everyone else is NOT doing - or by brokering services - you are a writer but instead of doing all the writing yourself, you get the clients, set the fees, and then you outsource the writing - there is a WSO about something like that - I'm sure some other warriors know which one I mean.

brokering services is a great way to make the money while doing significantly less work

Don't even consider it unless you are financially stable, you will put yourself under an enormous amount of pressure, which will stress you out and prevent you concentrating on what you are doing.

BTW, you wouldn't get much for a spleen, humans can do without them so they prolly don't need a secondhand one

I so agree. This IM thing turned out to be a real business that you have to treat like a business. You have to invest a lot of time and money to make it work. Success in anything is never easy.

I offered my soul to the (you know who) but he said I already offered my spleen to the market, so he won't take me because I am no longer "Whole-y".

I've been fooling around with IM for 5 or 6 years, doing a little of this then a little of that and the most I've made in a month is fifty bucks. So the obvious answer to me is to find something that interests you (CPA, Amazon, whatever) and stick with it until you either see some results or you go nuts. Work at one game plan steadily for at least 6 weeks. Find a mentor if you can.

I'm currently in the 2nd week of a coaching program called the Quick Start Challenge. So far it's been fun and educational. Too soon to tell if it will produce the desired results, but time will tell.

You need to S C A LE this idea. Don't just sell your Spleen. There are other non vital organs you can sell as well:

Seriously though...if this requires any serious thought it's very sad and disturbing. It's one thing to do this or die because you are forced into it, but you should re-evaulate your life. If I had to sell a body organ to make ends meet I would shave my moustache, grow out my beard and live a few miles west in PA with the amish, shunning the almighty dollar.

I'm going to be a bit Zen here but trust me when I say that the only person you can invest in is YOURSELF. This doesn't apply to the IM techniques that you'll learn alone, you'll need to make sure that YOU as a being is complete and ready to handle the challenges that you'll face in your journey. I'd invite you to try meditation, exercise and affirmations DAILY to keep yourself focused,revitalized and grounded.

Find a problem that people are facing and be the source for the solution. You can do a bit of research in forums such as these and figure out what techniques people want to learn, research on them and get back by offering guidance to their problem. This will work to building yourself as an authority while building your list with an interested following.

Use your unique gift and personality. Come from a place of service but don't forget to inject yourself in the products or services that you'll be giving. Just as there will never be another 'Ray Higdon' or 'Pat Flynn' there will never be another you.This will not only make the business side of this whole IM thing more durable during the tough times but you'll be able to attract your ideal customers who resonate with you and your message.

So, you can write. That is good.

Now, head over to the WSO section and do a little reading.
Keep a pen and a piece of paper handy.

Take a look at the WSOs that are being sold. Find the ones that seem to do well.

Hint: they have a lot of comments, are from maybe a few weeks or a few months ago.
Seem to be making a profit or they would not be bumped continuously.

Now, make notes on what those are about.

You will notice some patterns.

And you will will find some where the main ability of the WSO publisher was just writing. Well, maybe some research too.

So, basically do some research on what is selling and then create something similar and.... sell it. As a WSO.

I don't know what a spleen is. But flipping through the replies it seems to be some optional part in your body that HE's put in there just in case.

Some things I learned about marketing : Options are maybe more profitable , but people are more interested in the basic things first.

2nd lesson I learned: Look for what's in demand and what sells. Skimming over the internet, breasts seem to be in high demand. So that would be a good article to start with. You could even decide to sell them one at the time or just by the pair.

Next on the 'what-do-women-want' list, seems to be: a nice bum. Especially in Bresil. So you could try an ad in Spanish, and offer these parts. Depending on what you have for sale, you could decide to offer it per volume unit or per pound. Whatever makes more profit.

Last option on the "what-woman-want" list, seems to : A man. Don't you have an old one laying around? Or a double unit that you got from a girlfriend? Depending on the options of the model, you could try to sell it on Ebay or Craigslist.

Having said that, if the only skill , of the 25 that you need for IM, is writing , that's a good start, because it is one of the most important ones. I hope that you master reading as well.

In that case you're all set to become a successful writer on Amazon.

I just invented myself a writer career, and in the first month I blew away all the competition (in my sub-sub-sub-sub-sub niche

) . I made so much money that I could pay my new girlfrind, our first MCdonalds together.

Well, firstly, you need to find an offer to promote which you are passionate about. In addition you are going to need a great mentor who will guide you every step of the way in this business (even after you have bought the product/ program through him), specialize in one or two traffic generation methods to drive laser targeted traffic, build a relationship by sending value driven e-mails to your subscribers and make yourself reachable to them and finally ''pitch'' your product; best after the 6th or 7th e-mail so that they would have earned your trust.

Writing can be very rewarding, however there are a lot of writers out there that have a hard time breaking into the market, you could certainly make a living selling your work,)

One of the best methods of becoming successful is doing what you love to do, I have found that when you find the right fit for you what ever that may be, it will not feel like work at all.

When you are passionate about what you're doing and how you're doing it, life has a way of rewarding that effort.

Interactive media might be a good fit.

i am selling my brain for you spleen.
In internet marketing world many are not successful. Some are simply do not take enough action to chase their goal and some are not getting good mentor.
as you mentioned you self as an writer, you can do article marketing( including guest blogging) and info product development.
Once can figure out it , you can easily build email list or directly direct your visitor to sell affiliate product .

According to your sig, you already write content and eBook for others. Why not yourself?

Ever consider having your own CB product? If you can find a niche you're passionate about, why not. Only costs you have to worry about is hosting, $49.95 clickbank activation charge, and sales page design (you could probably find a decent free sales page/letter design with a bit of searching around).

You don't really have to spend on marketing. You can post about your new CB product on DigitalPoint's "Clickbank" sub-forum. And you should be able to find a bunch of potential affiliates for your product with a bit of searching, eg. blogs in your niche.

You will not be able to sell your spleen. It has no value to anyone else.
You could sell a kidney. Your kidney has value to someone with end stage kidney failure.
I would not advise it though. You would only be left with one kidney and there risks from the operation.
Better to concentrate on writing and internet marketing.

When people ask me for advice I always conclude with "My advice is worth exactly what you paid for it." And that might be said for all of the different opinions you have received. So, I will give you my 2 cents worth.
First, do not go into debt if you can help it? (BTW, I am a retired MD and not only can't you sell spleens, no one will buy one because you can live perfectly without one!)
Second, despite the free advice I believe from personal experience that your business will grow faster if you have a mentor and coach. If you look for one make sure you check them out thoroughly to make sure they will provide the value you need. Best of luck to you and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Andrea, you don't need to sell your spleen to make this work for you.

You do need to focus so you stop buying so many other products. One minute there's an Amazon product launch, then eBay secrets launch, then making money with blogging, then CPA cash secrets, then some SEO mastery course.

You need to decide which "shinny" object to focus on for the next 6-months.

It you want to blog because you love writing, only focus on the blogging courses. Tune out the other stuff. Unsubscribe from all emails that don't take about blogging.

You need to pick a focus and tune out the other noise.

Who/where do you write for? Looking at your Fiverr page in your signature, you should also make a gig for straight-up article writing (rather than a page of an ebook). Fiverr is great about highlighting new gigs so you won't get thrown at the bottom every time!

Actually it is the sense of humor that created the hype here and some are taking it seriously. I think you have a lot of skills to offer here for everybody Andrea and I think the skills that you have right now, is what these modern internet marketing is needing today. Hahaha, this is the first time I ever heard something like this. Well to be honest, I wouldn't to sell my spleen to pay for my IM ventures. When I first started out, I used Fiverr to sell my services and that's when I made my first $100. I then moved to selling eBooks and I managed to make more than $500.

So no, I wouldn't sell my spleen. If I was you, I'd start small and scale up. It's the best way to see results. Become an affiliate, sell on Fiverr, start a niche website etc.

Congrats for asking for suggestions ..

Hang in there it sounds to me like you have the right attitude ! Always stay possessive and good things will come to you..

It takes a lot work but the one thing that I found that keeps me going is having money come in from many different IM angles .

Do not waist your time with SEO if your in a hurry and start to learn copywriting and master 1 traffic source and you will be okay..
