What The F*^% Google I cant Figure You Out!

I wish i could figure them out. I had lost almost all my traffic to my main mortgage site back in June, right after there update. Traffic fell from 500 visitors a day to under 100. As of the last two days it all came back. Including the state specific related terms that i got leads from that i sold to a few mortgage broker friends??? I hope its a permanent thing i got going here now.

It has happened a few times over the last three years I have had the site up but the reduced traffic stretch has never gone on for so long???

Sometimes I feel like they put all top 100 sites for each keyword in a blender and just spit them out. Wouldn't we all be surprised if google is just a giant rotator script with a hell of a lot of servers. hmmm...

That's a pretty funny idea...all this stuff we've all been fed is just junk and all Google is really is a couple of college kids in a basement with about 500 servers, and they're sitting on armchairs made of everyone's adwords money lol

An amusing thought. Anyone wanna start a search engine?

I think google are alienating a lot of website owners and bloggers at the moment and whilst they have the market share today, tomorrow is another day. Long term web developers businesses will optimise for new and emergcing search engines unless Google starts treating it's customers (cos that's what we are) with respect

but web developers really have no effect on google... they are king because they dominate the search traffic.
I for one will optimize for the engines that drive the bulk of my traffic.. but whether I do, or not, it won't effect google one way or the other. They'd prefer NOBODY tried to 'optimize' their sites for them

I stopped trying to figure Google out - I just rely on article marketing with the right keywords and drive in traffic that way.

I left Google to there own devices a couple of years back as I too can't fathom them out and I can get traffic and lots of it without them anyways. Ok it takes a bit more work but the rewards are far better than anything Google has to offer for sure.
