INTERNET MARKETING

One of the trickiest aspects of internet marketing is finding the right product just before it turns *HoT* and then heavily monetizing it when it does. Being the only one on the market is of huge assistance. Following this exact method I have banked at times, over $1800 per day.

What we will be doing here is getting in on an emerging market on day one and making money within an hour or two.

Wake up early in the morning and head off to the newsagents, purchase all the daily national newspapers (and a subscription to a scientific magazine).

Go make yourself a coffee and sit down reading all the papers. Look for new products on the market, when you see one see if they have an affiliate program, sign up to it, build yourself a small landing page and link into the product.

Get aa Adwords campaign up and running immediately using only the product name as the keyword and throw some money at it, at this stage the competition will be tiny, if not, non-existent.

Go out and enjoy the sun. Your job is done.

Case study:

Two weeks ago I saw this clipping in the most read daily newspaper in England (The Sun)

A gadget that claims to lengthen a man's willy by a third has been backed by medics.
The extender - called Andro-Penis - uses a plastic ring, two rods and a silicon band.
Sixteen men with an average age of 47 wore the device for upto six hours a day for six months. Most of them had their private parts boosted by 32%
Now more trials will take place in Turin, Italy.
Study Leader Dr Paolo Gontero said: "The extender device produces an effective and durable lengthening of the penis, both in the flaccid and stretched state.

The perfect marketing product, there is bound to be a huge demand for it, plus it has the added benefit of the embarrassment factor, men don't want to buy something like this at their local store, online is discreet and that's a major factor.

A quick search on Google showed the producers to be Andromedical, and hey look! They have an affiliate program

Before 8AM I had a landing page up and running (had to put in a call to the company to accept me onto the program quick) and my first sale came in at 09:15 for £150 ($217). 45% commission on this into my account.

Sales tailed off around 11AM before picking up again at around 6PM, it was constant for the next 4 hours and I netted around £1800 on day 1. By day two I had some competition on Adwords and the clicks were costing a little more, still netted over £1000. The sales tailed off as the competition became a bit more intense and I dropped the campaign after a week.

The earlier you get in on the hot buzz, the more you make. Use this information well as it's absolutely golden.

I think G-Trends usually gives you the information that little bit too late. Because it's well usedm the chances of you really striking gold are minimal.

Have a look at G-Trends for the term Andro-penis. There was a large spike on the day this article was published and on day 1 I was the only one advertising it, this was before Trends really picked it up, Trends was probably the reason that there was more competition in the following days.

This isn't true, you can make money even when a trend is in the down swing. And especially not true if you get into trends blogging and can predict which topics are going to be hot before they hit trends.

Everything on trends is media driven, and things that get hot in the morning (after being on some morning show) will often become hot again in the evening when people get home from work. Also, the same things that are hot when Oprah mentions them on the show will get hot again when the show is in reruns.

Trends are nothing but current events and they are constantly changing so if you miss one trend wait an hour and another one will come along.

Were there any reports of the Willy turning black and dropping off?

On a more serious note, this is also a good example of statistics that can easily mislead. For instance, 16 is not a very representative sample, and there is no indication of what the average size was before starting the study. Were they excited about growing from 2" to 2.7" or from 6" to 8"? Maybe they were high achievers who went from 9" to 12"?

However, I appreciate that the case study was only an example of how to use a marketing technique.

The point I was attempting to make was that by the time it's on Google Trends your competition level will be high (especially if like you say it's been on Oprah). This is going to raise your CPC and impact on your profit.

Doing it the way I suggest, you can easily pick up your click for less than 10c simply because your search term (the product name) has no competition.

Why not use a paid press release for the web instead of adwords? I understand they are indexed almost immediately, but I have no personal experience. The press release will still be ranked and getting traffic after your adwords campaign is stopped

Great stuff. Interesting that it was from the Sun too. Had it been from a more "upper class" paper, it may have had more of an audience read it that are more buying minded. Not people with less disposable income that likely read the sun.

I think it may be a matter of checking to see the newly advertised products and doing online research as well. If they aren't already plastered online and seem to have a service that might be needed. It might be a good investment. However, I wonder if there are other similar products out, how do you decide whether or not to support another one? What makes the product you are considering advertising better than all the others?

and if i have to see that ExtenZe commercial one more time and listen to that old guy tell me about his big member and how he's laying pipe like he's a member of a plumber's union thanks to these pills, im going to punch myself in the face.

You know why RESVERATROL AND **** is/was big? Because oprah was talking about it. Do me a favor and check your CPA programs for highest EPC..and you will see EXACTLY those products.

From that P.o.V. this proves that the OPs method is spot on.

And, by the way, this has nothing AT ALL to do with blackhat. I assume that comment was meant ironically...but somehow the humorous part about it eluded me.

Now prove to me that you do not make a KILLING by watching Oprah the next time, pick names, products and promote them as long as you can, and as long as there is only a few people doing it. If you have digital cable, or Satellite, you can see the schedule, and a show description detailing what is coming up over the next week or so. Now sometimes the descriptions are very specific, and sometimes more generic, but using that with the info you can get from Oprah.com, and you should get a very good idea of what they will be featuring, and on what date. This would allow you to create your landing pages a few days in advance.
