Yes there are ways to make money without websites. Even listbuilding can be done without a website. What are you willing to do (moral/ethical being important)?

There are many ways which don't require a website. Freelance services are probably the most common.

I say get a website! Domains and hosting are dirt cheap.

You can go with freelancer sites, if you have a good knowledge in a particular field. For example if you are a good web designer then you can work for designing a website for few bucks.

Yes you can make money without a website ..just follow the following guidelines :

1.Find Affiliate Product
Find a product to promote where you make good commission on each sale. Generally, you will get the biggest commissions on digital products. Digital products are defined as something that is downloaded directly to a customer's computer after purchasing, like electronic books or software. Since there is no extra cost per unit, no inventory and no shipping, the commissions are much greater than on regular "physical" goods. The most common commission on digital products is 50%.
Sign up for an affiliate membership site. This will allow you to build a residual income and the retention rate is much higher than just selling a product once and getting paid.
Sign up as a reseller (also called affiliate) for a product that looks the most appealing to you. After you sign up, you will get a unique affiliate link where you need to send people to purchase the product. Your affiliate link will have a special code that will tell the product owner that it's you who referred the customer. The affiliate link code will allow your commissions to be tracked correctly and assigned to you.


2.Get Domain Name
Get a domain name to redirect to your affiliate link. A domain name is a .COM. You can get it for under $9 at GoDaddy.com. GoDaddy.com will allow you to redirect your domain name to your affiliate link at no extra cost. It's important to note that unlike having your own website you don't have to pay for hosting which is usually more expensive than buying and registering a domain name. Domain forwarding allows you to have a legitimate presence in the world of online affiliate marketing for only a few dollars! Some affiliates offer mentoring and training to assist you in your pursuit of making money online.
So when someone types in your .COM domain in their browser, it will go to your affiliate link. The visitor will see the website with the product you promote, and the commissions will be tracked correctly.
The reason why you need a domain name is that it's memorable and it makes you look more trustworthy. Affiliate links tend to be too long and arouse suspicion. For example, most people would rather click on the link bestwidgets.com as opposed to abcwidgets.com?reseller=john
A domain name will make your affiliate link look like it's your own website. So basically, you will have a product to promote and a website to send people to and get commissions – without really having your own website.


3.Get Traffic
In order to make sales, you need to get visitors to your domain name (which will forward them to the website of the product that you resell). You can pay for advertising and hope that your profit will be greater than advertising cost, or you can use free ways to generate traffic.
The most effective way to get free targeted visitors to your domain name is by writing and submitting articles. You can write short articles on the topic related to the product that you promote. At the end of the article, you include your author bio and your domain name link.
You will then submit your articles to various websites, and allow them to publish your articles as long as your link is included. Your articles will get published in many places on the Internet, and will be advertising your affiliate link at no cost to you whatsoever. People will read your articles, like what you have to say and click on your domain name link ready to buy.
Once you start getting regular sales from your articles, you can go back to step 1 and find another product to promote using this strategy. After a while, you will build up a nice source of Internet income – without even having a website.

Sure, there's a million ways to cook a goose.

But the question is - what do you want to do?

Often times, having your own web presence will dramatically improve your chance of success.

Naturally there are exceptions...

But why would you strive NOT to have one lol.

At the end of the day it depends WHAT YOU WANT to do.

If you want to build a list, build a following, be an affiliate marketer, or even offer services... Then having a web presence is a great idea.

That being said, there are some instances where a web presence is absolutely NOT required. (like publishing on Kindle, or selling stuff on Craigslist/Ebay).

At the end of the day, I guess it depends on your overall business plan.

But, I stand by my case that having a web presence is almost always better than not having one.

Video Marketing is great if you don't want a website.

You can make a nice looking fanpage and describe about your product or anything else you want. You need eye catching timeline photo which mostly describe your thinking.

Also you can go with sites like fiverr etc.

If you have some skills, you can sell services on micro job sites like fiverr, seoclerks, etc

1. Blog Commenting

Google for blogs related to your niche like Internet Marketing blogs, Weight Loss blogs and post relevant and valuable comments related to what the owners wrote on their blogs.

2. Blogging In Blogger

If you got Gmail account, you can set your first site or blog at Blogger.

Just type blogger.com and create your first blog.

As for what content to post, you can go to freeplrarticles.net and upon signing up free, owner Robert Dickson will send you 20-30 articles on different topics everyday.

Once you received your articles, just head down to Clickbank, get your affiliate account and sign up for an affiliate program most relevant to the topic of articles you received.

3. Classified Advertising

This is the FIRST method that makes me my first dollar online. In sites like Adpost, Backpage, Craiglist, Gumtree and Pennysaver.

4. Video Marketing In Youtube

The third way is doing videos and uploading them to Youtube.

For me if I want to do a video of me talking, I just used my laptop webcam.

For powerpoint presentation or screen capture, I used a free tool called Screencap Studio by Dave Guindon.

5. Forum Posting

You can also do forum posting at sites like this.

Either ask questions on things you do not know or help others with their questions and problems.
If you got money to spend, you can try Facebook and solo ads.

That's how i started out, i didn't have a website. What i did was
to sign up to several affiliate programs there are many online you can google for that.
I then used a url shortener to cloak those ugly affiliate links
and shared those links on social media and forums and friends
and made some decent money that way.

You can do it with just an autoresponder, which technically still creates a web page, but you don't need a domain or hosting.

It's in your best interest to purchase quality essentials for my site. But...

But all of these are non-nonsensical for a long term stable BUSINESS.

Write for others, design for others, sell for others or even for yourself using Clickbank and Youtube/Press releases.

You really have a lot of options and you can make them work, but first - please stop having "money making" as your sole goal. That's not going to get you anywhere. I know Forex makes people good money, but that doesn't mean I'll have to dive head first into that even if it doesn't interest me.

So, identify your interest areas and start doing that. If you are good in what you do, the money will come to you on its own.

I agree. Right now Fiverr is the fastest way to make money. I generate about 15-20 sales per day during the week AND about 8 sales on average on the weekends. But it's always nice to see what others are doing.

The fastest way to make money without a website is to join clickbank, pick a product, print up some flyers, business cards, etc, and go post them all over town. If you pick your market well, you could make $200 per day doing this.

Remember having a blog doesn't mean you have to blog everyday, they can just be central to your brand. Facebook fan pages can act as a good alternative to blogs for putting out content, but there's something a bit more permanent about having your own branded blog.

Sure, why not? If you have no website, you can earn money from online. there are many ways to earn from online, first of all you need to select your destination. then you should start your work. there are so many freelancer site to work without investing money. but you must be an experienced person in your field. which field you have experience, you need to BID on that's projects. I am sure every one can earn money from freelancer sites.

In order to make money you need to have a product or a service. Do you need a website to do that? No! But you do need something to sell or offer.
