Does this website suck? Input Please.

I am trying to create for my brother a good MLM web page, and need some input. I had abandoned the project for a while because he argued with me so much about his "not wanting to make customers opt in through a squeeze page..." The index page was supposed to be the "squeeze, but I changed it for him to just click over to page 2 at his request.

If nothing else, I may take it down and create my own site with this domain since he didn't like the site much, and isn't really using it. I am about ready to start doing my own websites to market for myself, and this will help me to know where I stand on a scale of 1-10 as far as writing copy...

Here is the site link: Home

Do you think I'm ready to start building my own sites?

Ps. All pics and vids on site were made by either his upline or downline, and are there with permission.

    Picture's a good idea.

The promise is over the top.

    $50.00 to $50,000 who's gonna believe that?

Not meant to butter you up is a good line ... with a different promise.

My name is a good opening and then tell 'em how you had theor problem ... and how you solved it with your opportunity etc ...

    Layout looks good.

    Test it.

    Let your market tell you.

You're taking action so you're ahead of 95% of the population.

I'm not even remotely an expert in web sites.

It's gotta good feel to it.

Good luck. You're on the right track.

I didn't hang around and look at it too much, to be honest, but your title tags definitely need changing. Get rid of 'Home' and 'Contact Us' and put something in there with your keywords in instead.

To help me learn a little: Where do you see that on his page? Do I just right click and view source? Even then I don't see it though.

I changed it upon taking her advice which was very "warrior like" , and greatly appreciated.

Personally, I think there are too many highlights (underlined words ... , italic
    words ... , bold text ... , red, black & blue text ... , a picture ... , etc).

It's hard to focus on something important.

Also, I would get rid of both the mth. abbreviation. (not really a screen estate saver)
    and the $50,000 statement.

Try $5,000 and you will gain credibility.

The layout is good, and I LOVE the clean colors and text.

However, you should spend some time on the padding of the elements. Padding on the image from the text on the right.

If you could make the headline be bigger and bolder with a 20px margin from the top of the page, and make the "dear visitor..." part fit better on the page with nice padding.

If you have the time, you should try and design sites using this: 960 Grid System

It will help you create better sites. If you know CSS that is.

    Good luck!

      Padding? Css?

Sorry, I am using this program because while I understand sales, I'm pretty ignorant about technical terminology. Thus using homestead sitebuilder...while the design itself is from scratch (not template), the actual program I use doesn't require html knowledge... pretty basic knowledge here.

    Hi,

For a "Marketing" type of website, I'd say it's about average. (5/10).

If you are talking about compared to *other* websites (quality designs, etc) -- then yes, it sucks.

    Hope that helps!

Yes. Thank you. Maybe you could offer some input on how to make it turn a profit from your experience at building 'quality' money making websites ? Also, some ideas on what a quality design is might be helpful.

"It sucks" is an appropriate answer though, given the question.

Thanks for the relevant answer... FYI:

My bro makes almost 4k per mth in residuals, and has successfully trained others to make a living as well. He is also the senior manager at a large Toyota dealership.

My other brother (james) his twin (in video on page 3) who signed him up makes makes almost 10k per mth doing seminars for Bitron...and is a full time leader in the company, so he doesn't 'need' a job.

I can tell that you are gonna go far here, with such a keen sense of the community spirit.

Keep rackin' up those one liners!
