Solo Ad> High Ticket Product

I wanted to promote a high ticket webinar product and drive traffic to the offer but wanted to test with with solo ads.

Would something like this work?

Solo ad (100 clicks) > Landing Page> Webinar (with $997 product offer)

The main reason I was thinking this wouldn't work is because usually solo ads are more for optins and building a larger list. They usually do not buy too much.

I was thinking it would be a good offer since its a free webinar (great content) with just a $997 product offer at the end.

Thoughts?

It would be best and easier to get the interested people onto your list first, this way you can attempt to convince them if they don't buy the first time around. I'm not saying that you won't get lucky and make a sale by direct linking but with only 100 visits and such a large purchase price, it's a pretty long shot.

    I wish you much success,

Only problem: Somebody that usually does not sell solo ads will not mess around with hundred clicks and actually would not sell you an ad based on clicks.

If you find people that have sold products in the past in your particular niche
you can contact those and simply ask. Don't be surprised if you get a positive response
but also do not be too surprised if you have to shell out $1k to $2.5k for one mailing.

Another option would be to simply offer people with larger lists a JV deal.
I agree. However, I would test this out with established solo ad venders first with 100 - 500 clicks for a while and tinker with your swipe etc until you are 100% happy. The last thing you want is to pay $1k+ for one mailing and not be totally happy with it.

    Hi,

Selling a HIGH TICKET program right off the bat is a hard task to pull off.

It all depends on the quality of your traffic and leads and of course the OFFER
    you are promoting.

The way you explained your set up is correct but unless you know that your
traffic source has targeted leads on it that are actually looking for what you
have to offer then of course you'll be speculating until you actually go ahead
and place the Solo Ad order itself.

You could of course look to ask those who have a proven track record
of making sales from their lists to see if you can buy some clicks from them
    in exchange for a fee.

This way you know that their lists have proven buyers and you are investing
in traffic that is at least prepared to buy a low to medium ticket offer from you
before they pass through your funnel and are offered your HIGH TICKET offer
    too.

I don't agree that you are almost guaranteed to lose money when buying solo ads because there's so much ways to monetize the traffic you'll be able to recoup it eventually.

However, to promote a high ticket product when buying solo ads will be extremey difficult, because the people subscribing to your list will be looking for a free gift.

I think you'll have much better results if you can target very specific prospects with a whole bunch of metrics. Surely if it's an awesome offer there will be customers for it, so instead of blindly buying solo ads not knowing who is on that person's list, you'll better set up some paid traffic campaigns and test, test and test again. With that price point you'll have some margin for error

It could work but the better way is to get those people on your list and provide value from day 1. Built trust and a relationship with them and promote your webinar at a later point in your sales funnel. Remember people don't buy always the product they buy you.

So it's all up to you how well you handle your list.

  • It will work if you can break even so if every $1000 in solo ads you make a sale then great the leads you get on the webinar optin is your profit.

Solo ads are great for promoting high ticket offers.

From the thousands of dollars I've spent on solos, I've noticed 2 good spots for them.

      1) Download page. Usually right at the top, where you can say something like:

"Sign up for your complimentary webinar where I show you XYZ"

I know plenty of people who were an affiliate to a webinar where they got a nice $800 commission per sale.

      2) An upsell. A webinar wouldn't work well here, just the offer itself...

Keep in mind, having a one-click upsell makes a massive difference with sales
